2-0 Half time. McGregor, Glover.
Ref has been on McGregor's case all game. Now he's on his final warning. He'll have to shut up or get sent off.

I know Worcester United Women's FC are not affiliated to WCFC, but does anyone know if the City FC women's team have finished completely?

I think I'd prefer Gloucester over the Xmas/New Year. Anyone but Redditch, really! Anyone else got a preference?

At the time, I think we all believed this..... Lewes have managed only 5 wins in 35 games, they're not suddenly going to go on a barnstorming run over their last 7 games. If they win 2 more games between now and the end of the season I'll be surprised. I'll be even more surprised if Bishops Stortford also get sucked in, its not as if Lewes are going to get 10 more points than them in the last 7 games, they won't get 10 points at all! No, the bottom 3 are as is, and virutally how they've been all season. The form guides show that none of the bottom teams have really moved over the last 8 games, City have picked up 2 points on Lewes who've picked up 2 points on Bishop Stortofrod. Theres noithng to suggest that the next few games will see any team picking up more than 4 points on any other. No reason for anyone getting nervous at all. Jimmy Greaves was right!

The sad thing is, it proves what they are capable of. The fact they haven't really bothered until now, makes this win a bit tainted for me.

At this level and with the economic crisis still in effect, a Midland division is a logical solution. Shorter distances, more derbies. Everyone wins. I used to go to a lot of away games within 50 miles of Worcester, but now with most games 100+ miles away, I don't have time (or the inclination)
Anyway with a few more bad results, the Midland league is a strong possibility!

Players are only sacked, if the club doesn't really want them. Great players are highly unlikely to be sacked, because (a) you lose agreat player and (b) your rivals get a great player for free!
Rooney could theoretically get away with any sort of violence on the pitch and Man UTD will not sack him. They may fine him heavily and try and sell him, but he will never be sacked on the spot.
Question is. Do we need Elvins or Shab? If not then (if possible?) sack them and bring some better player in.

Then you must sack Shabir, too? 2 sendings off against the same player, 2 months apart!

The official site site says:-
Having been on the pitch this morning (Friday), Worcester City's home game against Maidenhead United in the Blue Square South on Saturday should go ahead unless there is a severe frost overnight. 95% of the pitch was playable on Friday.
There is a frost. Whether it's severe is debatable. I'd say the stand side will still be frozen at 10am if that's when the inspection is.

Has this honestly been thought through? If we manage to reach 3rd after Nov 1st, the prices go up and stay up? Even if we drop straight down into the relegation zone by Xmas? If it was just for the games when we are in the top3 then I haven't got a problem. But £12 for a relegation battle?
Sorry! This under the assumption that we'd get into the top 3....lol... Early Aprils Fool Joke?

Just out of curiosity, what is the legal limit for the number of away supporters when segregation is implimented? I'm sure I read on here a while ago that safety regulations limited it to 450?
