Whats the usual away crowd like for city? I think im taking a few people down with me. First away game. Hopefully doing Droylsden the weekend after with some Worcester friends who moved to Manchester.
Really looking forward to the Redditch game, hopefully get 3 points in the bag!

Let's hope they are not still the City's bogey side as they have been for several seasons in the County Cup.

It's a desperately inhospitable place; the pitch is awful, the locals mostly ingrates. I've never enjoyed going there, even when we've won.

Kiddy on the radio and on the 'net. They say they will give updates if they get them Would liked to have gone but as rough as '****" with flu. Plenty of goals at Kiddy to listen tho. After being 1 up Kiddy now 2-1 down to Tamworth

0-0 About 500 at the ground ad Worcester probably have half of them i am told. Not Mant Redditch fans left in the world after recent results. Apparently the 1st half was a dire affair but the second half has perked up a bit ad the feeling is we could sneek it 1-0. We have had a decent chnace just but fluffed it. Just watch out for Addagio....!

Cartwright never came out for second half. Still 0 0. We missed an open goal. Nothing else has changed. Still scrappy.

we were on top most of the game apparently but never dominated enough - Danks had 2 decent chances and fluffled them. Probably a fair result at the end of the day

A disappointing display at Redditch yesterday.
But the referee didn't get a grip on the Redditch style of play.
i.e. kick Worcester players as much as possible. Towards the end of the game he was dishing out yellow cards like confetti to Redditch players, but it was to late, he had lost control. I believe it was 6 to Redditch and 2 to City.

Just to show how differently people view the game - I thought we played well! CH said that it would not be a pretty game, and he was right. A God awful venue and pitch. As the Managers say on H&W - I thought everybody put in a good shift. Everyone worked hard, and there was no way you could get the ball down and play it along the ground. Danksie had the best chances but at the end of the 5 minutes injury time I was glad of a point. It could have gone either way, but certainly not pleasant to watch. I find it hard to believe that The Valley meets BSN standards. They could had at least ensured that the burst pipe got fixed in the morning so that there was more than two urinals (and no ladies loo?) for 500 people. However, the Redditch official on the players tunnel was very helpful and pleasant which helped. I assume that if we got a pitch on Perdiswell and erected some scaffolding with plastic seats and a canvas over the top, it would comply with BSN requirements? I think Nuneaton also had one of these stands. Perhaps we can afford to build on NW after all!

We created the chances to win but on that pitch it needed shots to be wellied but it was encouraging City were still strong at the end which suggests fitness levels are good. Thought Josh Quaynor ws OK for them but also their left back and now Jamie Price has left might be worth a 7 day approach?

I don't think Carl would take any of those Redditch players to be honest, he has bigger aspirations than Lee Ayres.
Got to note how dirty Wayne Dyer was aswell although by the end of it I think he met his match with O'Connor and Thorley.
On another day we would of hammered them but it wasn't to be.
Pitch was awful, Terracing and Temporary Stand were a shambles, stewarding was low on numbers and weren't up to standard and don't get me started on the toilet situation and the fact their groundsman had left his hut wide open with many objects that could be used in a ruck.
Little did I know until I'd arrived home that Nuneaton had used the skip full of rubbish outside their ground to use as missiles at Telford fans, Buses and even the Telford players got attacked on the pitch at the end!! 4th time this season and it's a shame a team like Nuneaton who are supposed to be a 'family club' are attracting such problems on match days!!

Horrible pitch + horrible and depressing ground + horrible game = Terrible time. Only two plus's for me, helpful stewards and not losing, which after 5 minutes of the game seemed unlikely to me.
PS. Could someone tell some of the young singing blokes that you don't actually support your team by only going to an away game. You support your team by paying your money on the gate at St George's Lane.

Sounds a frustrating game. And exactly the reason why we won't make the play-offs. We never seem to be able to put these sort of games v. the bottom sides to bed, especially v. local flotsam!
