I, personally, have thoroughly enjoyed the last two seasons going South and would hope we can have at least one more season in this division.

I think we should use the influence that we have within the conference to lobby hard for a Midland division. Surely Boddy can do something for us? As far as North or South goes, I really don't care, thats one for Hampson and Heeley to figure out whats bewst for the football club. I'm just a supporter.

If we stay up and have a choice we will go north more local games and less coach hire, but there is a strong argument for a regional league it will save teams a fortune in travelling.

If there was a midland league, I would vote for it but as there isn't I've gone north.
More local games and the visitors always seemed to bring more support with them.

In these stringent times,it makes absolute sense to organise non league football on a regional basis-just look at the nonsense of Glouster City in the North! Surely the genius who thought up `the pyramid` could come up with an equitable promotion and relegation policy just as they have lower down the scale. But then, they tell me Boddy had something to do with it so I take that back!

Given the relegation candidates from BS Premier will we have any option? I'm not sure how long our agreement not to swap leagues lasted, and anyway does it make sense for Gloucester to be playing in the NOrth just on a commonsense basis?
I'd opt for a Midlands division if such a thing was organised, but the FA have been trying for years to sort this out and loyalty to the Southern League always seems to get in the way.

At this level and with the economic crisis still in effect, a Midland division is a logical solution. Shorter distances, more derbies. Everyone wins. I used to go to a lot of away games within 50 miles of Worcester, but now with most games 100+ miles away, I don't have time (or the inclination)
Anyway with a few more bad results, the Midland league is a strong possibility!

a midlands league would be great, not sure about the north bringing more fans, Wimbledon and newport sadly now gone did our coffers proud, on their way up. I remember Leigh RMI bringing 4.
we are victims of geography and with fuel at £1.20 a robbing litre the less miles we have to do the better, so I don't care but a few away matches within an hour is always nice

Lets go South, it's easier to get promoted out of the southern league! Oooops!! Ok lets go North again, but they're harder up there!

The City have to avoid relegation first. Then, and only then can they make the choice if allowed.

Lets go where the grass is always greener!! After all we did go South because it was a supposedly easier league to win! So as we have nearly got relegated out of the South, I think the North would be easier, so we should go North! Its time Boddy and his cronies at the Conference got off their arses and did something about the regional situation, its killing clubs, but of course Boddy will play it true to form again and stick his head deep in the sand!

What is Dave Boddy's position at the Football Conference? I suspect he has little or no influence on the structure of Non-League football. If the City Board wanted a Midland Division why don't they ask for it to be discussed at the Football Conference board AGM in June.

This is in the Worcester News www.worcesternews.co.uk/sport/8129170.City_look_set_to_head_north/the interesting bit is that given the option to go North last season City opted to stay put, citing teams with bigger budgets would make it difficult to compete. This hardly augers well for next season if we do go North, most of those teams are still there, so I am guessing its going to be very much a season of survival yet again. hopefully though the operating costs will be lower, so a little more can be found for player budgets. Just think, if 10 of the people that refuse to pay entry money were to pay their £11 each game, that would bring in £110 per home game, enough maybe for a youngster or a pay when you play player?
