James corden is good! As a garden roller I would agree, but as comedian... nah In my opinion he was okay in Gavin & Stacey but on his own he is as funny as syphilis

James Corden is to comedy what Dave Boddy is to Football Club chairmanship. Unbelievably bad. And Michael McIntyre for that matter. hahahah good analogy

Did anyone happen to notice if this weeks draw was claimed or what the winning number was? I have checked with Neils before anyone asks and he wasn't given the winner to announce

Passions do run over but also think that some of the comments and actions are way over the top Our defending was dreadful, abuse to Harrogate was not required. They played within the ref's tolerance levels. However, The one incident of spitting at the oppositions trainer and officials I saw was WAY over the top - Think he was lucky not to get seen by someone more official!

Actually VOR it was an entertaining game, shame only 713 watched it. Not made an easier when you are playing against 13 men! The ref and one of the linesmen didn't have a clue. Harrogate should have been down to 10 men mid way thru the 1st half, to the point that as soon as the ref only gave him a yellow their coach pulled him straight off. deservedly their right back got a red card but it was too late by then. We had a perfectly good goal ruled out when the keeper dropped the ball, Thorley buried it but the ref said the ball was kicked out of the 'keepers hands. Then Ward makes what I feel was an excellent tackle altho talking to WCFCPreston after the game he thought he may have made contact with the forward./ The ref gave a free kick and should have given Ward a red but only a yellow. It was either a perfect challenge play on or a foul and a straight red as he was last man and about to take a shot when the tackle went in. Both 'keepers were well below the standard of this league and that only goes to show how poor the strikers were as it could easily have been 7 goals a piece. I am sure CH will have plenty to say about the performance of the officials, we were very unlucky but some poor defending from the central two allowed them back into the game. Now we know Shab is likely to be out until April we need to invest in a left back and get Ryan Clarke playing with Elvins in the middle until Clyde can play again. If Price isn't thought to be good enough then why hasn't he been released to allow funds to be made available for a replacement left back?

Does that prove our point that Cartwright should have been in midfield not l eft back all along sure does, never looked like a left back once. we missed him in midfield for sure Yet again I agree with you Pendy he was never a left back all it did was limit the attacking options. richman was okay but didn't have the attacking threat of Cartwright

True, but if an apostrophe is required in a word or not wasn't what you might expect to find being discussed under the title Hyde Utd. I know threads meander on and off subject a lot (as I suppose i am doing right now) I was just wondering why the merits of grammar were being discussed under a Hyde thread. Plus it was said in jest too Altho' I do think Mornington Crescent is a good game too

Take it then it wasn't a City fan who won Euro Millions on Friday. That might have resolved a number of problems!
Sorry I just can't give up - Whilst we have a club we have a chance, whether that be for 5 mins or 5 years. I am sure we can salvage something and I believe that the Trust & the club TOGETHER will find a solution some how. Just such a shame it ever got to this position in the first place

Reading the comment in todays WN I Think this one is directed straight at you JCP!! Finally hey?... finally...........
"There will be some supporters who have campaigned against the Nunnery Way plans for a number of years who have been critical of this newspaper’s previous support for the scheme.
We understand their exasperation. If it helps us to move forward, we say this to them: you were right, we were wrong."

Never been more ashamed to be in the midst of a City crowd in the first half, and it wasn't just people coming looking for trouble, it's well known faces who are old enough to know better. I apologised to a couple of Corby fans for their behaviour. As for the game....sh*t ground, sh*t game, we were sh*t, they were sh*t, horrible drunk home fans, horrible drunk away fans - not a good day for the Club. Spot on!!!

I spoke to a fan from there and his response was " talented wasted on a fat hoath " What's a Hoath? Please don't say 'do your research!' I know getting silly now but it is FA Cup day Hoath is a village and civil parish situated within the City of Canterbury local government district. The hamlets of Knaves Ash, Maypole, Ford, Old Tree, ... LOL research complete...

Reading WN online I am not sure Jamie is off, think he was just offered as a short term cover for an Evesham side struggling and as a chance to get a game. As you say, just match by match or even just one match rather than 'off'

I put one up in the kitchen at work, ok so far no one has come across from Dortmund for a game, but at least they know we exist How about we run a competition ?? Who can place one of Neils posters each month in the most unusual place and with photographic prrof. This will have a two fold effect. 1/ we can all have a laugh at where they are placed and some the most unique places they can be placed 2/ More of the posters will be in circulation and hopefully more people might just get to see them and raise the profile of the club. Rob. Any prizes that you think can be offered each month to the winner?

Having seen Pike last season, he looked a reasonable player who could run with the ball, and in a very poor team he didnt look out of place. Maybe he doesn't shine out in a higher quality team, however, if thats the case, I agree, he should be given game time elsewhere. Price is a natural left back, I think Carl is making a bit of an error here, he should be getting game time at City at the moment. But, evewn with injuries, this is quite a nice problem for Carl to deal with, a bit different to a team being able to name itself week in, week out! I am surprised he has not utilised Price at left back to release Cartwright back on to the wing where he has the most impact and can torment the opposition full backs. We have missed his delivery into the box and because of it, Glover has looked wasted without his service. Birley does his best down one side but with Cartwright out wide we have so many more chances.
