Another big game saturday, can we keep up the recent impressive form which has seen us beat high flying boston united away and giving out a solid performance in the draw with telford, corby town are yet to lose at home this season but we shouldnt really care about that , league form is thrown out of the window but why shouldnt we feel confident no disrespect to corby but to beat boston away and draw to telford away surely we cant lose. corby town dont get big attendances so about 500 should be at the game, with 50 or more from worcester, there has been no travel details been put up on the website but call kieth chambers ( number on other away travel threads ) mark danks will be our main threat as he has scored more than 8 goals already and allways looks like scoring , corby though are much up for the game , they have ex worcester city player andy webster in the team and what is the chance of him scoring, corby signed a lot of hinkley players in the summer with niel cartwright one of them before bieng released and joined us which was a big gain, i hope he puts one past them

'surely we can't lose' !!!!! - pendulum, I've spent over 40 years supporting City - a comment like that is ludicrous!
And it's 'Adam' not 'Andy' Webster - a tremendous servant of WCFC and bound to be a threat.

Just a quick line to say good luck at Corby on Saturday. I went to the game at Boston 2 weeks ago and thought in the first half you played some very attractive football from the back through the midfield and were far the better side. The slight wind advantage and Bostons direct style gave them the edge in the 2nd half but in the main the I thought the better footballing side won on the day.
I`m a Lincoln City supporter and from the dross we have been serving up this season I had the choice on the day of watching them at home to Stevenage or watching my son in law Ryan Clarke return to Boston for Worcester City. Lincoln lost 1-0 at home, were apparantly very poor so I think I made the right decision watching you win a really entertaining game.
It was nice to see Ryan play well and look like he`s enjoying his football again. For all of you Worcester fans out there I made the comment this weekend that from his previous time there and again now the fans really seem to like him and seem a good bunch to which he replied, " They are the best supporters he`s played in front of because win or lose they are always behind the team even when things havent gone so well."
I`ll certainly be pulling in some of your games during the season and luck forward to having a beer or two with some of you in your clubhouse in the near future. Good luck Saturday and lets hope you can make the 1st Round proper.

Thanks for the generous comments, Poacher.
It won't happen but Lincoln v.WCFC in the FAC would be nice.

Thanks for the generous comments, Poacher. It won't happen but Lincoln v.WCFC in the FAC would be nice. Not too sure it would be nice. Look at this photo of Sincil Bank. What if a City fan is offended by the national flag of Monaco? Actually, it's probably upside-down, so it might be the Polish flag.

It's a Polska flag, Dazza.... If not Lincoln, Chesterfield's new ground would also be a joint preference for a future FAC junket??

How embarrassing!! Mr "Do your research" VOR hasn't done his research!! Didnt you do a subject beginning with G at school? Lazy? Arrogant? Even a PC illiterate monkey, or one of his nieces and nephews could have found that out!!

Pitch is awful, ground is awful, the match officials are awful and useless, and Corby players seem more ready to get over physical than play the game.
To some up in one word....awful
