I doubt there would be too many tears shed if it was the case. His on-going "battle" to correctly pronounce Emeka Nwadike's name a couple of seasons ago was cringeworthy.
From experience people who claim to be crazy or wacky are normally accountants whose idea of cutting edge comedy is watching a box set of Terry and June.

He is ill with food poisoning, which is why you had to put up with my Norman Collier style performance.

Niels, do you do requests? If so how about Wavin' Flag - given that a fair few around here seem to be fond of doing just that. The lyrics also include the line... 'So we patiently wait, for that faithful day' Link to Youtube video here...

I will put "Wavin' Flag" on the list for the Redditch game. It was on the pre-prepared CD which I made just in case we got a replay against Corby (I was out of the country from Saturday midday until the following Friday so I had to leave something for Capt, Jane and Dave to play just in case) but alas it was not required.
We are happy to do requests, mainly for birthdays etc, but also just for the sake of it. Please bear in mind however that I am trying to aim the music at the younger supporters and am therefore restricting older records to one or two during the peak 25 minutes (just before the start and half time). I start the music at 1.30 at weekends and 6.15-6.30 on Monday nights so much has been played before the majority of the crowd arrives (I can post playlists if anyone is interested in seeing what gems they have missed). Another thing to bear in mind is that Half times seem to be getting shorter and shorter. Saturday's was only 11 minutes before the teams returned to the field, making it only possible to play two records and make some announcements.

One for Time to Kill by Robert Cox please Another thing to stress is that even though I am trying to build up a library of stuff to please most supporters, we may not be able to play exactly what people want, but could possibly come up with something similar which is acceptable.

So Sad Eyed Lady of the Lowlands is out of the question then???

So Sad Eyed Lady of the Lowlands is out of the question then??? Yes but we may be able to reach a compromise on one of the following! Blowin' In The Wind Don't Think Twice, It's All Right The Times They Are A-Changin' 1 It Ain't Me, Babe Maggie's Farm It's All Over Now, Baby Blue Mr. Tambourine Man Subterranean Homesick Blues Like A Rolling Stone Positively 4th Street I Want You Just Like A Woman Rainy Day Women #12 & 35 All Along The Watchtower Lay Lady Lay Knockin' On Heaven's Door Tangled Up In Blue Shelter From The Storm Jokerman Born To Run Thunder Road Badlands The River Hungry Heart Atlantic City Dancing In The Dark Born In The U.S.A. My Hometown Glory Days Brilliant Disguise Human Touch Better Days Streets Of Philadelphia Secret Garden Murder Incorporated Blood Brothers This Hard Land or even Chips Ahoy! The Hold Steady

Badlands, and Tangled Up in Blue! but preferably the version on Live at Budokan. Only 4 of the Broooooce songs float my boat! There are two problems with Sad Eyed Lady of the Lowlands, firstly its over 16 minutes long, and secondly, its possibly the most depressing pile of shite that Dylan ever droned, sneered and whinged into a microphone! utter drivel!

Sounds absolutely perfect for when we have had an embarrasingly bad performance and need to convey our anger to the players. I'll get the Captain to get it from HMV.

Blonde on Blonde album - As an LP it takes up the whole of one side of one record, its the side that never gets worn or scratched!!

It seems perfectly normal to watch their entire output over a weekend. Some people have no sense of adventure! Hrmmmph

James Corden is to comedy what Dave Boddy is to Football Club chairmanship. Unbelievably bad. And Michael McIntyre for that matter.
