Josh Smith has gone on loan to Bridgnorth Town and Dan Polan is on loan at Stourport Swifts. Hopefully they'll both come back and have the same effect that Taylor did last season. Dan has gone to Evesham i think

Hello, I'm coming to study at Worcester uni in a few weeks. I'm a Shrewsbury Town fan who travels home and away but due to me moving down for uni and costs of travelling I wont be able to go to many town games. So instead I was planning on becoming a regular supporting Worcester instead! I've never been to the ground before and unfortunately missed the chance to visit pre-season with our lads. I was just wandering if there was a vocal section of supporters and if there was a certain part of the ground they congregated in? Many Thanks We are not the most vocal home crowd but like all non-league clubs the most vocal will gather behind the opponents goalkeeper each half and shout comical japes at him along with supporting the home side. Welcome to SGL and hope you enjoy your visits. we are a reasonable side this season and normally exciting to watch too. next home game is 15th V Droylsden. visit our web site for all details of the ground and how to find us.....

Not sure about that Tim Although they have not started so well Histon could be a hard place to visit and get more than one point. They have taken points off some good sides already and will continue to do so 'Win everything at home and draw everything away we will be Okay'

Thanks for the highlights and the effort in filming and making them available so quickly. Very professional look including the action replays! One of the best free kicks and certainly the most blatant of penalties I have seen this season! It is a big thank you to Alistair who records them for us As soon as he lets me have a copy I pop it on the web site. Not usre if we have anyone at Histon tomorrow yet but if we do that will be on line by Wednesday evening.

Well done Shabs to come back from serious injury like he has, but could we please spell his name properly? It's Shabir. I expect someone will tell me it's like Gazza for Garry and Dazza for Darrell next but I don't buy that one. We actually asked his family what his preference is and they clearly stated that it is Shab not Shabir.

I think City have an advantage over other teams playing on a Monday night. If City might be a bit tired after a Saturday game, then how about an opposition team who have played on a Saturday AND travelled down to Worcester for a Monday game? With Sky running the fixture lists for Premiership football, there will always be clashes on any night of the week. and as Niels points out, Champions League will take out Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so Monday looks a good option. Spot on!

Would be easier to control them at Kiddy. Just give them one side of the ground, lock 'um in and throw away the key. They can help support Kiddy when they play at home next

Something very funny occurred to me after the game last night Just imagine Worcester City (who are currently top) get promoted And just imagine Kidderminster (who are currently bottom) get relegated and we have to share a ground with them We then share a BSBN team ground as a premier league side.... how Ironic! hahahahah

With the website down we can't use this link now!!! Big apologies! They have done more damage than we thought - We now have the site partially back. We have totally lost the front page but all the articles are in there somehwere, they just might take some finding and you will have to scroll to the bottom of each page due to the menus taking up half the page. It is the best compromise I can come up with at the moment I am afraid. Again, I apolgise for the outage. It has taken me two days to get it back to where we are now. However, I am off up norf tomorrow ready for the game Saturday so I will not be able to do anything else on it until Sunday PM ..... sorry

I'm in but due to my almost zero knowledge of Premiership footballers I don't expect my chances are great. I will race you to the wooden spoon prize then I thought there was only one premier league and that is the Blue Square Bet Conference Premier League!

See they beat Kidderminster 1-0 on Tuesday Could be a good work out for us before our first league game. Think our starting line-up could be the one we go into the start of the season with If you are travelling the details are@
ROAD Preferred Route: Take M42 to Junction 3A and travel southbound on M40. Exit at Junction 14 and follow A452 towards Leamington. Continue straight ahead at 1st roundabout and at following roundabout take 2nd exit A452 (Europa Way) towards Leamington. At next roundabout take 4th exit (Harbury Lane) signposted Harbury and Bishops Tachbrook. At next roundabout take 3rd exit continuing on Harbury Lane. At traffic lights continue straight ahead into Harbury Lane. Ground is 1.5 miles on left. From South: Take M40 northbound and exit at Junction 13. Turn right onto A452 towards Leamington. At 1st roundabout take 3rd exit A452 (Europa Way) towards Leamington.
From Leamington Town Centre: Follow signs to Whitnash and Bishops Tachbrook (B4087) Tachbrook Road for approximately 2 miles. At traffic lights turn left into Harbury Lane. Ground is 1.5 miles on left.
Alternative Directions: Go to M6 Junction 2 and take A46 (Coventry Eastern By-Pass). Follow A46 until you reach junction with A45. Turn left on to A45. I think it its important that they won these games against these lower sides like Bashley, Stratford (and Hereford lol) and beat them handsomely. When they come up against another Godalming in the cup they should do a proper job on them this time.

Hereford beat Gloucester 4-2. Not sure if thsat gives a true reflection of where the two teams are in their pre season preparation or not,
