Did anyone else notice Anthony standing in the box urging the crowd on, he looked quite excited waving, clapping & trying to get our support for the team......... Well done Mr Hampson I was impressed, you really are in danger of enjoying the life of a non league supporter & if you're not careful you'll be adding Director in Charge of Football to your Chairman's roll !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
Oh, by the way....... Talking about Directors: You're a real nice guy Dave, but the time for you to leave is well overdue

You're absolutely right ealing, that a company should listen to it's customers. It should also do all it can profitably to keep it's existing customer base & attract new customers. BUT these consultations are policy decisions & therefore the business of the company owners not the customer.

It beggars belief that the general public should have any say in the way a business is run. These meetings/consultations should be with the owners of the club ie. shareholders.

Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear........... was it you who coined the phrase "same old same old" Please do not accuse me of Naivety, but surely it's time for some of you to get behind the club to try to get us out of this mess or walk away & forget about it. If there is any real proof that there are fraudulent dealings going on why doesn't someone refer the matter to the relevant authorities ? Oh & by the way, I know as well as you do greenman that some if not all of the SAG group would be welcomed back with open arms to the boardroom. It is always easier to make a difference from the inside & perhaps an opportunity to make amends for the past

If AFC is what you really want, how about stop dreaming & start to put some structure in place. I'm sure there is support out there for it. SAG & WCFCT may get involved if there was genuine support for it

JCP, you are absolutely right. I advocated giving him / them a fair chance......... They have had that & basically done nothing except carpet the social club & put in a couple of TVs I would question if the lack of reporting on the accounts was illegal. EALING, regardless to the fact that you, I & almost everyone else didn't agree with it. It was a fair election

Limbo why bother asking us when you can ask him at the next home game during half time when you are enjoying the directors hospitality AGAIN! nobbynuts I think you must be mistaking me for someone else !!! Or are you rumour mongering

Has anyone bothered to investigate all these rumours ? I heard that the club were charging for the big match because all of the money was going to the trust, whereas in the past the proceeds went to the club. I also heard that the club were happy to allow the use for meetings free of charge & that infact they were actively trying to get the supporters club & the trust to use the facilities rather than go elsewhere. There are far too many rumours spread around this message board. May I say though that Anthony should be taken to task on the points made on this thread along with the promised investigation & reporting on any if there are any agendas by individuals or their companies regarding the move to Nunnery Way

Now now Greenman, you know how I feel about the whole thing. I said all along that we should give A H a chance. He appears not to be taking it If you read between the lines you may just see that I was asking questions: Is Langlands Avenue the place to be now ? Are we to see the growth of a new giant in the county ? If so why have you not publicised this because an extra 100 or so on the gates there would do a mass of good ?

It has been noticed by many of you that very few of our board members turn up to see a match. I agree that this is "not good form" & agree somewhat that it does not demonstrate any real regard for the club. But no one seems to have noticed that most of the so called saviours of the club, you know those people dedicated to moving things forward for their love of the club, (SAG I think they were affectionatley known as) have disappeared apart from the odd caustic comment & dare I say s**t stirring on this board ! Oh well if the rumours are right; Langlands Avenue here I come, I'd hate to not to stay in touch with them.

be careful mrpositive You will be accused of being totally misguided & looking at the club, it's officials & their intentions through rose tinted glasses & with a blindfold on. I should know, I get accused of it reglarly. I am hoping I can still feel the same way after tonight !!!!

I have consistantly said lets give AH a chance & been accused many of times of seeing what's happening through rose tinted glasses. I can only hope that after tonight I will not have to admit that I was wrong. I also hope that those of you who have virtually abandoned your support, will be in a position to offer your support again. Just a point, I do not think that AH has the right to remove any director from the board & that it has to be by a board vote (can anyone confirm this?). That being the case, are there enough directors against those who you all seem to want ousted ? Perhaps this is another question to be asked.

Anthony Hampson told us that he would be asking all directors what if any agenda they had regarding Nunnery way. If he has done this, tonight should end all speculation regarding DH & / or any other director who it is assumed is biased for their own ends. If he cannot answer this, he will have failed in one of the basics he said he would report on. It will also be interesting to hear what steps he is taking to ensure that we stay at St Georges Lane to "regroup", which was another point he seemed to be quite strong on. Tonight may just confirm whether AH is the "real chairman" or the puppet some believe him to be. Will someone report on here after the meeting please, as I don't think I will be back to Worceter in time to attend the meeting.

I can specifically remember A H telling the open meeting that 1). He would investigate the reasons if there are any as to why some directors are hell bent on a move to Nunnery & that he would report any findings to us. 2). In his opinion the only way forward at this time is to stay put at St Georges Lane until such time it was proved that a move would be of benefit to the football club. Perhaps we should wait until he reports at the scheduled open meeting before condemning the guy.

Mr Amiable, who put his hand in his pocket immediately & bought 3 grands worth of shares & as I said previously is spending money on our club !!!! Look to the future ealing, we cannot undo what was done in the past.

So A H is useless is he Jem ? He's paid for new televisions in the bar. He's paying for new carpets in there as well. He's arranged the open monthly meeting as promised. He turns up to every home game & pays for his entry. He talks openly to everyone who approaches him at the match. Give the guy a chance !!

[glow=red,2,300]Some people should put up or shut up !!!!![/glow] There are unsung heroes who do perhaps get an odd perk, but before you insult their value to the club perhaps you should offer your services.

Not below the belt at all, surely a director who knows anything about football & bad weather & who genuinely wants to keep the company afloat would have used his "friends" to help run what should be one of the season's biggest gates.
