I've worked at companies where "management consultants" have been brought in. Their conclusions were the same as us workers had been telling the bosses for ages but they preferred to waste there money on bringing in outsiders instead of listening to us.

The flooding in Worcester must be worse than I thought. Yesterday's Daily Telegraph said the Worcestershire v Warwickshire match at New Road was off because of flooding caused by the River Teme breaking its banks. If floodwater fom the Teme has reached New Road then maybe it's time to start building that ark.

do you ever go anywhere you are not wanted? "always" was your answer i think leeds wcfc. liverpool supporters have a long long tradition of making their own "ticket arrangements". i dont think anyone knows to this day how many people attended the liverpool everton cup final of 1986, they literally climbed the walls to get in, the same for the 1989 repeat, there were already fans inside the ground at 6 in the morning telling their mates the best ways to get in, they invited me along but i had a ticket, my last game as a season ticket holder. the tradition of bunking in goes back a long long way. i was a season ticket holder in the early eighties but could never get a ticket for the "glory" games, after a couple of disappointments i resigned myself to not bother even checking if i qualified, others chose not to take the disappointment lying down. supply never meets demand, supply could never have met the demand. there is currently an 8 year waiting list to get a season ticket, so i m told, hopefully this will change when the new stadium is built. i have never been on the kop since i gave up my season ticket and if i go to the game i go in the kemlin or anfield road, it just isnt the same anymore. i havent been to a game for 5 years, like most liverpool supporters i watch them on the tele these days. sad. bunking in doesnt have the charm these days. Your attempt to make them out to be likeable rogues is laughable. The reference to "tradition like bunking in" is, I'm sure, meant to make out the practice to be nothing more than a bit of fun whereas it is really something deployed by a large number of lying, dishonest cheats who have only their own selfish agenda in mind when depriving their fellow supporters and endangering the lives of others.

without any doubt liverpool football club are the biggest supported club around the world. home or away the fan base is huge and that is why they travel in their thousands to watch their hero's. whatever ground we play at we turn it into a sea of red & white. Without any doubt? Well, I doubt it very strongly. It does strike me as somewhat moronic that thousands travel when they know full well that there is hardly any chance of them watching their "heroes" because they haven't got tickets. If it isn't possible to get into the ground then they might as well have stayed at home rather than further sully this country's reputation.

Aha, clearly the being at Wembley meant more than the football itself for the vast majority of the crowd, hence the "Mexican Wave" Call me a grimly curmudgeon, but anyone found doing a Mexican Wave at a serious sporting event should be locked in a dark room and forced to watch every episode of boring upper-class t**t TV quiz Ask The Family!! You, sir, are a curmudgeon. If despising "Mexican waves" makes one a curmudgeon then I am one too. What a load of pathetic bollocks they are. I remember watching an England international (I can't remember who the opposition were and this may have happened more than once anyway) when Johnny Foreigner set a "Mexican wave" in motion. It moved around the ground until it got to the England supporters who did not join in at all. They were booed by everyone else but I was proud of them. Oh, and I used to enjoy watching Ask the Family. At least the competitors needed to be in possession of some brain power.

It's not like a proper football ground, such as Saint George's Lane, is it?

"I would have gone but the County are playing Yorkshire at Headingley. I don't think there'll be much cricket on there though if the recent bad weather continues." Nowt to do with the weather. Sixth worse defeat ever! I didn't bother going in the end. More bad weather was needed to save us.

Some sort of graphical representation of results can be helpful but those used by the B.B.C. were awful. It appears that some "bright sparks" came up with ideas for the visual displays and no-one had the good sense to tell them that they were pathetic and embarrassing.

One thing about buses, everyone says you should take the bus more, but again, if you've never been on a bus before, particularly in a town you've never been to, how on earth do you know where you are, or where the closest bus stop is? cos the driver aint going to tell you!!!! If anyone going to Harrogate tomorrow gets the number 36 bus service from Leeds they will have one of the best bus-travelling experiences possible, The buses are very comfortable and clean, the drivers are all polite and helpful, and there are screens on both decks saying which is the next stop to be called at. If all bus companies took as much care over their passengers' needs as Harrogate and District Travel do then more people would actually want to travel by bus.
