No reason to suppose it will be off.
Looking forward to it myself. It will be the first pre-season game for me (and the only one I think). Do you expect to field a strong team or a load of trialists?

I see Stockport put 6 past Cardiff at the weekend!
Could we see a goal fest tomorrow?

No, not too early since we have aparently assembled the squad which will compete the season for us.
My prediction - with a bit of luck with injuries given the size of the squad is that we will make the playoffs.

Thanks. Another quite poor attendance. Is it the £10 or the floods? £10 seems a lot to me to watch a practice match. Do ST holders get in free for these games? ST holders do not get in for free and I think the £10 may well be putting off a few people. For me it's been a combination of flooding and work which has so far stopped me from getting to any of the pre-season games. I can already see that the only pre-season game I have any hope of getting to is v Stockport Shame, I was especially looking forward to seeing City beat F*r**t

The article does go on to quote Dave Boddy as saying that they know what they can and cannot do by way of an enabling development. So, as long as they kep within the peramiters all should be ok shouldn't it I just hope that mention of something around September doesn't go the same way as when DB said around Febuary time that he expected to be able make an to announcement in a couple of months! (i.e.- April)

So I called up the captain, 'please bring me my wine'
(and he said) ' We haven't had that spirit here since nineteen sixty nine'
And still those voices are calling from far away,
Wake you up in the middle of the night, just to hear them say..

Don't worry. We are about to enter the third year of Andy Preece's five year plan to get the club into the football league. The next three seasons are going to be really exciting

Message to Des Lyttle:- Des, I am so sorry that my performance in BM5 while wearing the No.6 shirt has led to you being released from the club. I promise that I will do my best for City next season

I'm glad I am not a football manager. Tough decisions have to be made and I think this one must have been very difficult.
Des and Tom are both good players who always gave their best in my opinion and I wish them both the very best for the future.
Thanks fellas.

Famous Belgians that have played in the Premiership (or Old Div 1) then: Nico Claesen (Spurs), Emile Mpenza (Man City) and ..... Luc Nilis (Aston Villa)

Isn't that like Chelsea? The stitching on the shirt should be blue too

I fancy blue shirt and shorts with white socks, like Chelsea.
Don't think much of the team but there was always something appealing to me about the kit!

Harsh.
I don't think Des is finished. He has another season in him I believe.
Adam Burley improved as the season went on and turned out to be pretty much as good as Andy Preece said he was.
Chris Cornes - No thanks
Webby was playing catch up when his season eventually started, having missed most of it through injury.

I noticed that in an article in the Worcester News last week, Andy Preece was talking about City aiming for a top ten finish next season Didn't we discuss this last summer? Aiming for the top ten when we should be aiming for the top spot. Does this mean he already believes we are not capable of winning the league?

As for me; well, at 64, I have to accept that was my first and last appearance at SGL. I was f*****g useless and I guess the 20 year age gap was just a bridge too far. No way were you useless Tim. I hope I can still play football for 70 minutes when I am 64!!

Yes, Shab was brilliant, take note Andy Preece! Don't think Hyde looked that special and yes we should have won the game.
The ref cost us two points I think. Very poor.

I f Darrell wants to change his name more regularly than his underpants that is his perogative. I dont see what the problem is. We all know it is him. If I could be bothered to think of a new name I would change mine, but as mine sums me up perfectly why bother. Maybe I should be Princess Barbie for a change You mean that Darrellchanges his underpants less than three times a week

I knew I had gone as far as I could down the mathematics road when I started doing Fourier Analysis. How I ever passed the exam I will never know as the answer looked much the sameas the question to me!

Yes but all we get these days is a few seconds after the team has run onto the pitch. We should get more of it and played louder as they come down the tunnell.
