Fantastic win, great effort throughout the team! A decent crowd for a cold January night too, with 450 there, a decent turnout from Coventry too! The supporters really did add to the occasion, it's mad what an extra 100 or so on the gate can do to the feeling around the ground. Here's hoping a few of them keep turning up for the league games now, as I saw plenty who haven't been much/at all this season there, which really was great to see! Into the last 16 we go, and away to the giant killers. Cannot let our guard down! I was one of those who had not been for a while. After a dismal performance against Khalsa last season I finally gave up but i thought I would give it ago last night and I was impressed with the team. Let’s have more of the same please

That’s all well and good until five years later when the owners get bored. Kettering, Rushden, Hornchurch, need I go on? I support City because it’s City, not because of the marketing or the investment. If you can’t get behind your club just because it’s your club, I don’t know why people bother. You may as well declare yourself a Liverpool fan and start supporting them. So long as Sixways is a stadium, the owners will want the facility being used and making money. I can't see how they would ever get "bored". I also support City because it's City. I think that is a bit of a nonsense reply. I want the club to prosper and be successful. The only two options to me are: 1st option - Perdiswell, of course. Fan owned. (unfortunately, this looks like it's got absolutely no chance now) 2nd option - Sixways. Hand over the reigns to new owners who have the knowledge on how to run two successful elite sports teams, with a trusted track record. I fail to see another option that doesn't commit us to further years of no growth, struggling to try and break even, no success on the pitch and dwindling enthusiasm from a shrinking fanbase. I agree with you Leejackson345. I’m going to be out of the country on 28th so can’t attend the meeting but as far as I’m concerned if the Warriors owners want to take over I am all for it

So far, so good then with the Community ownership plan.
Couldn’t make it tonight as I’m currently in the Canary Islands but my vote was cast via proxy. Fingers crossed for the next step

I used to go to every ‘home’ game and the occasional away game. This season I’ve been once and that was the game that ended the unbeaten run (Khalsa?). That was enough for me, sorry as I am to say it. I look out for the result every week, follow the updates on the WN website but I’m not hearing anything that’s reawakening my enthusiasm.

I’ve not been one to call for the Manger to be sacked following a poor result in the past but I really do think John Snape is not up to the job. He brought the players in, he set the tactics and he picked the team.
I know we have little money but I really do think we would do better spending what we can afford on the best manager we can get in and see what he can get out of the players we have. We seem to be signing new players every other week and still put in a shocking display like yesterday

Didn’t Ellis Deeney leave City to go there making comments about Rats and sinking ships?

I recall in the past, rumours that the council would have to pay the Trusts costs if the appeal was won. Was that true or just speculation?

One of the problems though is that, during periods of absence, people find other things to do or,as I my case and a couple of others I believe, second clubs become first clubs. There is a long road ahead but at least there is a road!! Im sorry to say that is the case with me. When I first stopped going to home games I missed it but after a while I found other things to do. I fully intend to start attending games again but for the next couple of weeks, work is going to prevent that happening.

I have not been to watch City yet this season but given the two defeats in our first two league games and the exit of the FA Cup at the first hurdle, does anyone think the squad or the management team are just not up to much? Alternatively, have we just begun the season by playing teams expected to be at or around the top of the league at the end of the season?

I wonder if there will be a comment from our leader or one of his minions this week, it might be that he has had enough and is going to walk away? I wish he would..........and take the rest of them with him

" Holdsworth was involved in tabloid scandal in 1996 when he had a highly publicised extramarital affair with topless model Linsey Dawn McKenzie, who was then aged 17. In December 1999 he was sentenced to 18 months probation for punching his wife Samantha Holdsworth. " Are you sure that anything is better? A wife beater? sounds a charming man! [/quote Could we at least wait for the gift horse to get here before we begin to look in it’s mouth?? Blimey, talk about negativity! If Abramovitch wanted to take us over some people would be complaining that he’s Russian. Surely in the current situation any tiny glimpse of light in this long dark tunnel is welcome even if nothing comes of it. I agree with Stamoo

I am not at all surprised by the outcome of the offer of help. I’m sure no one else is either.
For me now the end can’t come soon enough because nothing is going to change. The sooner we are all relieved of this torture the better. WCFC RIP.

There is no news as we speak, this is being managed on the Supporters Trust behalf by out designated authority Nick Igoe. Ok thanks for the update

Any news yet on whether the NDA has been signed by the Club minus the amendments? I think I know the answer but I guess I’m hoping against hope that something positive has happened.

I won't attend another home game under the present regime but I will watch Worcester City or AFC Worcester or whatever they are called once Hampson and Co have gone, even if it is fully amateur.

If messrs Pinches are putting money into the Club with no evidence of what it’s eing used for, why on earth not withdraw their sponsorship? I’m damned sure I would.
