Well that is very original. Must have taken days to come up with that one.

But they are maths nerds Brooksider
I have to admire anyone who can do complicated maths like Darrell. I hated maths at school and now I work with figures!

Look at the initials Gooby, its got nothing to do with maths, just a little childish joke. Probably shared by the City University Nautical Team, or the Carlisle Uni Netball Team, or the Cheltenham Under-11 Naughty Table! Its so funny my head nearly rolled off from laughter.

I knew I had gone as far as I could down the mathematics road when I started doing Fourier Analysis. How I ever passed the exam I will never know as the answer looked much the sameas the question to me!

And the Cardiff University Netball Team, when I was at Uni of Worc we were hoping it would be called Worcester University so as to have Worcester University Staff Soccer- somewhat summing up our style of play perhaps.

What is Fourier analysis?
My son asked me something the other day about his maths GCSE and I just looked at him blankly. I had never heard of it, something to do with placing shapes on a grid of numbers, what bloody use is that to anyone.

I did suggest joining up with the literate lot and forming the Writing And Numerics Knowledgeable Society, but got shot down.
