I've noticed a number of Hereford fans complaining about recent results online, but not to the extent I'd expect for a sacking. 3 promotions, FA Vase final at Wembley, and rebuilding a squad after the old club folding... I'd have expected him to have more of a chance at NLN level.

I think I'm right in saying Tyler Weir was the oldest player in the squad yesterday, at 27.

I think Google also had us down as winning the penalty shootout. Odd.

Didn't we sign Jordan Keane and then go on a run of 20-odd games without a win, having been mid-tableish when we signed him?

The 4 games we've had so far this season have had more optimism around the place than last season had combined. Alright, we're probably not going to smash teams 8-0 like last season, the squad is arguably not as strong as it was, especially after Hayward and Bunn left after initially agreeing. Are results on the pitch all we care about though? For me, the priorities are sort the finances, sort a ground in Worcester, sort out rebuilding links with the community, THEN the results on the pitch. Of course, I'd love a win today, and I'll be probably be grumpy for the rest of the day if we don't, but there's an optimistic boost going through City right now. Like Kev has said, sponsorships have been mega, so have comments and interaction online.
Lets turn out in numbers, which will help the club survive, and cheer on the City boys, which will hopefully help them to 3 points.

Vase and league cup games also to be played don't forget, and I assume the Worcs Urn too.
I've not actually checked with my own wallet if the cards fit in a wallet, but they should do. Dare I suggest trimming them a smidge?
350 for a Tuesday night replay arranged at short notice - I don't think it was a bad crowd considering. Saturday will be telling of our numbers. 330ish was the average for a Saturday game last season.

All shares cost one pound, minimum purchase 50. 3,000 therefore costs..............£3,000 It could be 40 groups of people, the issue here is, is WCFC Ltd. worth £120,000 ? Last time I got a fag packet evaluation done by a very successful venture capitalist, he laughed a lot!!!! I seem to recall a conversation on here years ago about Andy Preece being given shares in the club by the then board... This has got me wondering, could the current club board (in theory) give 120,000 shares out to a collective in order to make constitutional change happen? My thought is that the board is meant to act in the shareholders best interests, and that'd be ensuring the company still exists in years to come - if the board only see WCFC existing as a CBS, then gifting shares to enable that would work... right?

Great of you to offer your free seats! We're looking at organising a car share scheme for home games soon to help more get to games!

Danksy did also make a great appearance on the club Twitter for Sporting Khalsa away... although his spelling was even worse than mine!!
Great guy, a favourite of mine from his first stint at City and would love to see him back at the club in some capacity in the future.

It's an interesting one... being City fans, we have differing views on play offs, having never seen our team thrive or fail at them!!
My opinion is that play offs are a good end of season decider for the 'best of the rest' to go up, but can also agree that it's often harsh on second place, just to satisfy a few other teams that haven't done as well over the season.

Boldmere have won awards for their programmes, and agreed, the best of the season for me.
Like Kev has said, a lot is taken from website, managers notes, stats etc would all still be done. Does the MFL require a programme? As has been mentioned, a few haven't bothered/had issues this season (Rocester even advertised a free programme with entry, only for none to turn up!).

On the idea of a modern programme (online), I think it was the Southern League who have said teams can now produce a digital programme, and not have the requirement of the league to produce a physical program anymore... myself I'd be all for a cheap, online version, rather than a more expensive, physical version that loses money for the club and is less up to date. I'm sure many would disagree though!

Highgate just beat a youthful Cov Utd side 1-3, meaning City are out of the running. Close, but no cigar.

A good first half to the season, and I think he at one point had something like 9 goals in 10 games, but then struggled for goals since. You might well be right that he's not been 100% fit for good periods. First 2-3 months of the season everyone was saying the defence was leaky, but we had the ability to outscore the opponents. Odd how the perception for many has flipped for the last two months!

Perhaps we have missed Lee Hughes, but you cannot really knock the efforts of others up front - Dave Reynolds I believe with 29 goals for the season now.

I'd like to thank all who give their time and efforts for what they believe is the greater good of the club, both those paid and volunteers... helping on turnstiles, club shop, programmes, half time draw tickets, photographers, PA, cleaners, players, manager, coaches... everyone.
Also a thanks to Andy Mitchell, Rob George, Steve Carley and Dan Johnson for their regular coverage of WCFC over the season, hopefully giving those not at the games a good report of what has been going on.
A club cannot function without people willing to get involved.

4-0 victory for City, still mathematically in the promotion race, albeit the third of three teams battling it out for 2nd place.
Current Battler for 2nd:
Highgate - Played 39, 81pts, +30GD Coleshill - Played 38, 80pts, +51GD Worcester- Played 40, 80pts, +51GD
Run ins for Highgate, Coleshill & Worcester
Highgate: 28/04 Shawbury (H) 30/04 Cov Utd (A) 05/05 Cov Utd (H)
Coleshill: 26/04 Heanor (A) 28/04 Cov Sphinx (A) 01/05 Rocester (A) 05/05 Shawbury (A)
City: 28/04 Quorn (A) 05/05 South Normanton (A)
Assuming City win both of their games, cannot have Highgate gain 6 or more points, or Coleshill gain 7 or more from their remaining games... or we are out of it. That said, Highgate have lost their last 2 games, and Coleshill have to play 4 away games in a short space of time on some pitches that are a darn sight worse than their nice 3G.
My thoughts: We're not out of it yet, but I don't think we'll make it as have to rely heavily on others slipping up. Some of those silly dropped points over the season look mega right now.

It makes sense the new club being initiated by the Trust, it would give it some gravitas and credibility. However, it's fine for me to suggest such a scheme when I'm unable to contribute much. That's exactly the issue I think a lot of people have. It's admirable for you to say you'd be unable to contribute - many of those who want a new club don't want to get stuck in with helping, when they could.

The logic of wcfc being a pub team because the awards evening is being held in a pub, is the same as saying we were a cricket team because we had an awards evening at wccc.
The cap sponsors the club, the players when asked preferred the idea over holding it at bromsgrove after tomorrows game. Its free to attend, some hot food will be put on and a better selection of drinks available to buy compared to the bar at bromsgrove (No slight on them)
