is this reduction based on a pro-rata cost for the game ending on 70-odd minutes - as it usually does against these lot?

aye - we need all the bodies we can get - and the Worcester League is one of the best disciplined leagues I've served on at that level

Does the Cavalier not sponsor the supporter's club though? Surely they want some advertising in return. That's correct.

Take me out tonight Oh, take me anywhere, I don't care I don't care, I don't care Driving in your car I never never want to go home Because I haven't got one, da ... Oh, I haven't got one
And if a double-decker bus Crashes into us To die by your side Is such a heavenly way to die And if a ten-ton truck Kills the both of us To die by your side Well, the pleasure - the privilege is mine
Oh, There Is A Light And It Never Goes Out There Is A Light And It Never Goes Out There Is A Light And It Never Goes Out There Is A Light And It Never Goes Out There Is A Light And It Never Goes Out There Is A Light And It Never Goes Out There Is A Light And It Never Goes Out There Is A Light And It Never Goes Out There Is A Light And It Never Goes Out

when i did some research into the Lane a few years ago at the Records Office - i came across the auction notice for the land on which the Lane is on - and some old photos. Will be happy enough to venture back down and see what i can find Now that I'm back to some semblance of health - I'll head down to the History Centre today to see what I can root out. I remember there was also a large archive of stuff donated by a local referee and County FA man called Percy Harper from Stourbridge who refereed one of the FA Cup Finals in the 1910s.

nah Ealing - I'm happy to let him metaphorically hang himself spectacularly on here - it's our job to provide enough rope to do so.
Hopefully if that doesn't happen - he'll get bored and move along
Of course - we could have banned him a few weeks back for using abusive language towards several contributors on here.
Some call it smugness - others call it being an erudite realist...

Point has been discussed before Alfie ... the egg chasers are full time so they have the time to do midweek visits, whereas the City players are part time and have jobs. It would be nice, but it's not really possible It's comforting for you to think thats the case isn't it? but the following is true: Every single one of the Worcester Basketball team is also part time but they have to do school visits or they don't play. I know of at least 3 regular 1st team players that do NOT work. What about the one's who are injured and cannot train? Could they not go to training sessions around the area? I'm sorry but I am yet to hear a valid reason as to why this couldn't happen.............. most of the squad live outside of the County?

moley has yet to take me through the advantages of a brand spanking new "revenue raising" stadium - and how it does raise revenue for getting games replayed in it.

i envy you with your posh new state of the art revenue generating stadium
might as well go and lie down in a darkened room to recover from the after effects of thinking about the money it brings in

the Dr Marten's Cup Semi-Final against Newport. I believe Wes Joyce bagged a few goals in a 4-3 extra time win? yep - pissed down in extra time - and we both were probably the only two who went behind the Canal goal for the 2nd bout of extras whilst everyone else took shelter in the shed

Brooksider was extremely rude and arrogant when I offered to help last time. If stating facts is abuse, what a sad world you live in cg or is it jcp or brooksider GC I don't live in a sad world and I am not Jeremy Pitt (or any of his aliases) He is someone I met through the Trust - in addition to a few other folks I now know. He has copped enormous abuse on this website at times for stating his (admitedly often far too lengthy) views. I don't agree with Jem on many subjects but quite often he has put his finger on the problem. I have never seen him be rude to anyone - but lets say he has rubbed you up the wrong way - what difference does that make in me saying he should be praised for his efforts in getting the Supporters Trust off the ground (with, as explained, Andy Bullock and Nick Bent in particular). Earlier in this thread Jem asked you to outline your wonderful ideas for the Trust. I note you haven't done so. Insulting people is saying the only thing worth doing with the local newspaper is to wipe your bum on it and to slag off all journalists. Well I'm a journalist and my wife edits a local newspaper - that is abuse...and it is sad....and it is uncalled for - and if those are the type of suggestions you made to Jem I'm not surprised he gave you short shrift. cg, nail on head there - I think the words of Abraham Lincoln (who coincidentally is a predecessor of those people that someone in question on here would like to "nuke") are relevant in connection with that final paragraph: "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt" I'll certainly raise a glass on this Super Tuesday to that

The lights were definitely on again and at full power. The reason the game was abandoned was because the Worcester management refused to carry on. If I was a Worcester fan I would be ashamed. Hopefully you will get your reward ain the replay and be beaten even more convincingly but no doubt Worcester will win 1-0 through a penalty and our goalie being sent off. Reading that mong out above leads me to the conclusion that the lights are on but no-one's at home (pun intended)
