I just love the total lack of proportion that the national media attach to this "Earthquake" Dynamic news reports from roving reporters, I heard an interview yesterday by a middle aged woman with a frightfully posh accent saying how she woke up in sheer terror, scared for her life and in absolute fear! "Absolute fear? " She like 99.99999% of the UK population have no idea what that could possible feel like. I mean lets put a little perspective on this. Kashmir Earthquake 2005 - 80,000 people killed! UK Earthquake 2008 - man taken to hospital because a brick from a chimney stack fell on his leg!! (note - there may be one or two other minor injuries reported!) It was a bit of fun, the earth moved, and the good old Dudley Earthquake Disaster story did the rounds again At least on here we see the funny side of the story. Sure some people will have been inconvenienced by insured damage to property, but far less than those still inconvenienced by flood damage locally last year. My friend at work felt it, she woke up to find the bed juddering, and thought her husband was having a crafty J Arthur!!!

Breaking News
Rescue teams have just pulled a young girl from the rubble. The girl has been surviving by drinking "Red Alcopops" which she was covered from head to toe in, When asked by a rescuer who thought she was injured "Where you bleeding from?" she replied "Warn-don and what's it got to do wiv you"

OK, I'll start.
It's been weeks since our earthquake, and still no sign of Pakistan starting an earthquake fund for us. So the next time they have one - stuff 'em!
