Didn’t the same thing happen the last time we played them a couple of years ago?

But ended up shipping 2 in the second half to make things less comfortable than required.
Concerning that we aren’t closing out games properly that should be comfortably won.

Leaving them by going to the Press publicly before telling the actual Chairman or Board? What’s more important to some people - Loyalty to the Club or Self Publicity and Column Inches? Take that into account before coming to a relevant conclusion...

If true - wouldn’t this have put a big spanner in the works of the City Council stating that they wanted the Club back in the City?
This was an option - but was shelved by them under the veil of secrecy?

I’ve used some of your figures and such in the past in letters to the WN - but always tried to paraphrase them. You’re right - just copying and pasting is just unoriginal and lazy.

From the local political reporter at the BBC on Twitter:
“The Trust have won their planning appeal to have a new stadium for the club built at Perdiswell. The plans had been rejected by Conservative councillors. @myworcester must now decide whether to sell or gift the land.”

Initial tests are going well - might need a couple of guinea pigs to help test speed of updates.
Anyone who has an iPhone or Android and would like to help - drop me a PM and I’ll forward on link this evening.

I’ll be working on an free online fixtures calendar later on today that will be subscribable to drop fixtures and results into Outlook or mobile phones.
Just so no-one is kept out of the loop concerning fixture changes and other such stuff.
Will post links when I’m done.

Tim, for the love of everything holy, please stop giving the PPP zealots and their political paymasters ammunition to incorrectly use against the Trust, Club and Planning appeal.
It doesn’t help one iota.

Apparently the new chairman is someone I’ve never heard of - with a track record of success in business in Liechtenstein. He’s called Hanthony Bampson

Telling that only one Councillor Adrian Gregson spoke. The rest just voted it through Really - I thought that Jones, Mitchell or Laurenson would have had something to say (either in an official capacity if on the Committee or as interested parties) about this and what could happen?

All this forum talk over the past few years about setting up a new club ... yet not one of you has done anything to set up this new club ... All these years of kicking the can down the road... and yet no AGM... Come on Colin - pull the finger out...

Our exalted Councillor trying to spin this on Facebook:
“This is the report coming to the Committee and has been written by officers, the second recommendation is That the Committee endorses the conclusions in this report that no further work should be undertaken to establish whether Parsonage Way is a suitable location for WCFC. Yes it for the Committee on the night to agree to this and I would be very surprised if they went against officer advice.”
Lucy obviously thinks that her Tory buddies would never throw out an application if the planning officers said that it should definitely be approved...

Well, that's us finished then: I see no future for the club at all now. It's just a matter of time now, so I shall go to matches knowing that any one of them could well be the last time I see the club play. PERDISWELL Get behind the efforts to do something instead of meekly embracing defeat without a fight. You’re doing exactly what Hampson, Wilcox, Hallmark, Gareth Jones, Chris Mitchell and the Tories want you to do - silently going along with their plans

Posted by Malvern Council member Lucy Hodgson on the Warndon Villages (snigger) Community Group on Facebook:
“I understand that there have been some findings as a result of the feasibility studies carried out on Parsonage way. It is sketchy at the moment but I believe the survey of the land of Parsonage Way, which is wanted for a football ground, has been found to be the habitat of the long eared bat, which is light sensitive and in decline. This is exactly the reason why I voted at the Policy and Resources Committee to fund these studies. As soon as I know anything more.”
No bats on Perdiswell though...

“The ex-Wimbledon and Bolton Wanderers striker will target the purchase of the 143,645 unallocated shares in City, a little under half of the current maximum of 300,000, plus more from existing shareholders subject to assurances over a stadium site and off-field structure.”
Hmmmm...

I met her at one of those early meetings when Andy B and me hopped into his car to head to a back street social club in Coventry where SD were having a meeting.
A knowledgable woman who had convictions and fought for them.
Sadly missed

False on both the last conditions - both on previous deeds and future maschinations by Hampson et al.
They would have fought tooth and nail to prevent promotion - for we are a “fully amateur club”
