It's not negativity, it's a matter of examining a potential buyer's track record. If a couple of twins from East London claimed to be interested in investing in WCFC should we just roll out the red carpet without question? You’d be Krayszy not to...

Correct me if I’m wrong - a takeover in the conventional sense can’t happen with a massive cash injection in exchange for ownership and control due to the 1000 shares thing?

If the Chairman and the Board have resigned us to a fourth placed finish - then we will finish in fourth

Looks like the Club beat the Trust to the punch of hosting events in a pub.
I wonder if downthelane’s head is about to explode at the news?

To no great surprise, the football club haven't co-operated with Supporters Direct. Where has that been reported? Interested in reading about that further

• The club returned an altered NDA with different terms to the one provided by Nick Igoe and Supporters Direct, did not include the Supporters’ Trust in it and had removed the list of information requested by Nick • Nick Igoe has since been back in touch with the club stating that, as his services are provided through Supporters Direct on behalf of the Trust, the Trust will need to be involved in the NDA

From the OFFICIAL Club Website:
“The Board of Directors of Worcester City Football Club and Bromsgrove Sporting Football Club are pleased to announce that after amicable negotiations, an agreement has been reached for Worcester City to groundshare with Bromsgrove Sporting for next season with an option for a further year if so required.”
Methinks downthelane needs to crawl back under its rock and leave adults to do the talking

That is because weve not held a 1 minute talk with Pershore over any form of groundshare deal, this is just a non story ! Precisely.Just replying to the comment earlier by downthelane I wouldn’t even dignify it with a response woodenose & Kev.

“We need volunteers and fundraising. If people don’t want to raise funds for Worcester City, they could pay it directly towards the players for example.”
Would that not be breaking some kind of FA or League Rules (aka “under the table payments”?)

Statement from the “Board”:
In order to clarify the Boards response to the Trusts request for financial information and a potential discussion with the Trusts nominated Financial Adviser and Fund Raiser the Board can confirm that it has had no approach from either the nominated Financial Adviser or any other individuals that may take this project forward.
If an approach is not made sooner rather than later it will be difficult to fulfil the Trusts request for information to be supplied for their upcoming meeting planned for the end of this month.

“I am fairly convinced that if I step down it will happen with the support of Worcestershire FA and Worcester City Council.“
Not according to a member of Worcester City Council:
“Cllr. Stephen Hodgson:
The football club Chairman's comments aren't accurate regarding the council being behind this project. A decision was made by the council's P&R committee (which I don't sit on) to put a budget in place to investigate the city council owned land and its suitability for usage. Beyond that any application for a football ground will be subject to the normal planning processes.
As I understand it is unlikely anywhere near as much as £100K will be spent on these surveys. And the football club (along with the County FA) would need submit the planning application and find funding to build this.”

I really struggle to understand what downthelane is driving at. This is a chance to make some progress surely? Unless downthelane wants this to fail and the club fold completely. Maybe there’s something it doesn’t want investigated and revealed?

That is such a non-answer, deflecting onto another topic. Maybe you can answer the question asked in the other thread - or are you still pulling the usual trick of being Hampson’s hilarious little lapdog?

I’ve also written several letters to the Andy Mitchell Cash Wagon (aka the Worcester “News?”)
No real replies or notice is taken by either the Bored or the general populous. Or even the Tories in the Council when questions are asked of them.
I’d wager (unfortunately) although intentions are good - it’ll be totally ignored by the vital parties.

I put most of these views into a letter to the Worcester News - which was printed today. Bringing it to the attention of the ordinary person of Worcester.
Got the main letter and a photo of Hampson looking abhorrent.
