Sean Geddes back - again? Really?! Well yes, why not? As we know better than anyone he's a quality player when he's on his game. Sean must know he won't get too many more chances to play at this level or above. He obviously will not be match fit as he has hardly played recently but he was on the field for 10 minutes today and made one superb cross field pass to create an opening. He can't be any worse than what we have seen recently from ENA and Jordan Murphy. Having said that I thought ENA was a little better today only in that he put himself about a bit more. But having Sean Geddes in the squad for me is a big bonus if it works out, and if not what have we lost?

That looks like the last we shall see of him then! A really good lad: can't fault him for skill or attitude.

Danny Nti scored for Halifax today in their 4-2 win against Salford (Salford had led 2-0).

I believe he was captain of Mark Owen's academy team that was run via Worcester College of Technology - as it was called then - in 2012/13.

Nathan Vaughan gets a chance to get to a Wembley final with Bromsgrove Sporting. Just read on their website that the game tomorrow is a 3,000 sellout. Best of luck to them - hope they get to Wembley

I was there right behind the goal (in my red hat if you can see me) It wasnt a penalty as the player totally conned the ref by diving, bit like the Coventry penalty was dodgy...and then the penalty and save was a mirror image of the one Vaughny saved from Reda Johnson! Albeit one was to the left and the other the right! I was telling the Bromsgrove fans round me not to worry and trust in Vaughny to save it and they were high fiving and hugging me right after, he'll be a legend now with them for it and it was his first game for em, top stuff! Hope they go all the way but South Shields look really good, watched the highlights of their goals for their quarter final, some top drawer finishes that are worthy of a few steps higher than theyre currently at. Graham Fenton is their coach though so he's obviously a massive influence on them.

I was talking to Nathan before the game on Saturday (he seems to come on quite a regular basis, 'cos I've seen him at our home games before) and, among other things, told him I was still watching his penalty save at The Ricoh on Youtube: his reply was to the effect that so was he when "he was feeling a bit down". Now he's got another to savour!
I think he said his loan was for a month: in which case presumably he can play in the semi-final, where Bromsgrove have drawn Cleethorpes Town, who are a step above and top of THEIR league (as are Bromsgrove). The first leg is at Bromsgrove on March 11th (City are away that day) with the second leg a week later.
