The BM5 Tony Moore Memorial Shied to be held at St Georges Lane will be a 7.20PM kick off this year.
These are not the teams, just the order I have them in. All special requests have been taken into account. The Teams will be posted by Monday 16th April.
Andy Bullock Dorothy Cogg Mark Graham Parker Niels Mazey Carlos Tim Munslow Niel Hirons Suv Chris Green Craig Corbett Purple Turtle Chris Rock Steve Badsey Steve Goode Steve Burnside Steve Hughes Baz Pinches Rob Trussler Rich Morse Rich W Dormston Cook Craig Jamie Lee Dave Green Terry Homas Rhys Goode Mancunain WCFC Sean V
Special Guest: Georgie Dragon
The final day to pay will be on Saturday 14th April. If you haven't paid a cheque to me by then you will be dropped from the list, so please don't complain if someone else takes your place.
There are a few people on the reserve list, but we are limited on places to enable everyone to get a good length of time on the pitch.
Meeting Time will be 6.30PM for 6.40PM in the Harry Knowles Lounge, you don't need to be any earlier. I will then give a quick briefing.
At 6.45PM go to your dressing room & sign for kit. You won't get any kit unless you sign for it - you will then be responsible for the kit. Numbers will be pre-assigned and you can't change them. (All you will need is Shin Pads & Boots).
6.55PM Kick about & Photos, then go back to dressing rooms by 7.10PM. Your manager will then sort out who is starting at each position.
7.15PM Run out to "Time is Tight"
7.20PM KICK OFF
If the scores are level after 90 minutes, there will be penalties, then the Tony Moore Memorial Shield will be presented to the winning Captain.
After the Match, the Harry Knowles Lounge will be open for drinks. If you want to go down to the Auction you can then come & go as you please.

Rich: are we going to get some kind of reporting instructions or whatever? I'd like to know where I'm playing (is left-off vacant?) a little more than an hour before kick-off.
PS I'm told I've got some boots now. (Umbro for £8.99 - sounds a bit dodgy to me!).

Regarding positions, this is sorted out in the dressing room before the game, everyone will get a chance to play in the position they want to play in at some stage of the game.

Is Brooksider still going to managing one of the teams?
I have not seen or spoken to him since the previous message board disappeared and I was in negotiations to assist him on the night. Just wondered if that was still on the cards?

Rich Widd and co: What time are we supposed to turn up to play in next week's Big Match? I've either forgot or never been told.

I was wondering that as well, when I gave rich my money at the barrow game he said he would post all those kind of details nearer the date, do we have to bring our own drinks or are they supplied?

Unfortunately Pittsy won't be playing in BM5, as the Stourport League won't extend the season, and at the moment he's playing league games every 2 days!!!! And Wychbold are through to the League Cup Final at Aggborough on the Sunday, so he needs a bit of rest before that one.

I'll have to withdraw as I sustained a nasty back injury yesterday.

Thanks for the updated info Rich
Given my heart, lungs, legs and all my other body parts the shock of its life this morning (Sat), got the push bike out (weather was nice) and went from Hallow to Broadheath, Crown East, Rushwick, Lower Wick and then back, F**k Me. Legs are like Jelly, Forgotten how to breathe, Anyone know how to loose 2 stone in to weeks?
Cycling past Elgar's Birth place with my ipod playing favourites (Joy Division's Atmosphere as I passed the door), sure he would of approved.
The diet starts tomorrow, looking forward to the match

I am also pulling out of Big Match, so there's a managers vacancy if someone wants it. I'm afraid the Morrison debacle has greatly diminished my interest in the club. I'll take the family out for a meal that evening instead.

BM is someones 'BM'. I believe, once experienced, then that's it.
It's almost like the London Marathon. Did it once, got the T-Shirt.
OK, someone (Paris?) may argue "I've done it every year!!!" - but then you was the 'keeper...
What Rich Widdowson/Derek Jones have done is marvellous. I personally will never forget BM1 - and neither should anyone else for whom its THEIR BM1.
Good Luck to you all who are 1st timers participating in this season's event - and savour every moment, because - trust me - you will remember it forever

I think we both got a bit of a surprise the other day when we met in different context to WCFC. It is a small world, but I still would not want to have to hoover it!
