Well, today they put some of the doubters in their place, with a 2-0 win away from home; so all is not lost after all! Haven't been able to go to a couple of recent games, as my wife is seriously ill, but I'll be back for more - pub league or not. The same "pub league" which Hereford won and went on to greater things! At the moment the very survival of the club is the priority. Yes a good win today,I see that Ilkeston could only draw at the Swift's.City now 11 points behind with a game in hand. It's not over yet

City have added to their backline players with the addition of Callum McFarlane from Walsall Wood. Callum is a 6ft 5 centre half who was previously with Cheltenham Town, Stourbridge and Stafford Rangers. He goes straight into the squad for today's trip to Coventry United . Also Tom Fishwick, dual-registered with Redditch United, is also set to be in the squad today.

Putting a few of the recent articles together......Those accounts were from before the Goode Board was in place, but the current playing budget is the same set by the previous board before the season started. So the question is; did the previous Board tighten the purse strings before the current season started to ensure we don't lose money this season, or is it planned that we are still going to make a loss this season? Hopefully not a loss this season as Steve said (on the radio) that some of the players are only on £20 a week. And I think that a few more shares have been purchased ,and with an AGM to take place, with a chance of changing the constitution things are looking a little better.

I went to the game expecting to lose, so for me a point and a much better display by the lad's was comforting. If we had managed to come away with the 3 points, would there still be criticism of some of the player's?

This is probably just an interview, and if Snapper likes his spiel ,then it might go upstairs to the board?

City have further bolstered the ranks with another former Wolves player. Right sided player, Josh Hesson has joined the Club following his release from Wolves where he had been since the age of 7, where he played with Adam Osbourne. A move to Sunderland fell through during the summer and Josh found himself a free agent. After making contact with the Club following our signature of Ozzy, John Snape has moved to bring in another option down the right hand side. Josh can play either as a Right Back, Right Wing Back or further up the pitch. Josh has bags of pace and energy to bring to the team.
