I'd like to say it was a curate's egg of a performance, but that might be rose tinting it a bit. Ok in parts rather than good. Too many off days individually against a strong side who played with cohesion, and we should have been dead any buried before the break if Till had been able to cash in, register shots on target or any other such pun. City came out all guns blazing, but they forgot the sights. Withington's first goal for the club was a wicked deflection by the look of it, but the misfiring City guns went blue on blue when Balders decided to play in their 8 with a slide-rule blind inside pass, still took a good finish though. No grandstand finish today, but another point when maybe we weren't really worth one.

If anyone was wondering why the music was exclusively New Order today, besides Time is Tight - I've been working on some mixes and wanted to see how they ran together. Usual mix of punk and reggae next time again!

Jezeph made some great saves but news of his preference to come out so far from his goal has obviously been noted. Surprised other teams haven't tried to long range chip him.

It is just a shame that the lad's could not win their last two games,if they had City would be top of the league.Plenty of time/games left,so keep plugging away and the boy's won't be far away
