The proof will be in the pudding when the first few home attendance's are known. I think there may be quite a few people, myself included, who will not be attending home games. It is all up to the individual at the end of the day. I don't intend to go to home games either

We need the big banner back. The banner is deep in landfill. RIP banner. I do however have a flag fund kindly paid for by Kiddy (after some persuasion through the courts) burning a hole in my pocket here if you have any suggestions on how to put it to best use. It can help pay for the appeal.......until we get the money back from the Council

Bridges are never ever going to be built with that attitude You see that gap of 21 hours (and counting) with no one on here acknowledging you or your desperate attempts at stirring the pot? That proves that everyone on here considers you a lampoon and not worth the time of day to rise to your idiotic "inputs". As a consequence - I am delighted that you will never get what you want, and you will always be fizzing with impotent rage. Yes, I had seen the post by downthelane but I had no intention of commenting. I'm surprised you even bothered yourself

Massive? Has he actually seen the plans? They actually all got on a minibus to go up and walk around the site earlier today. Clearly then, he meant to say modest!

There's also the question of things like Team Builder and Gold Bond competitions, both of which I take part in. I have been giving serious consideration to quitting these recently but I would welcome opinions on whether it would be best to do so or if I may as well carry on. These funds go directly into the clutches of the board...... Do you really need opinions ?? No........dont know why I asked really

I'm certainly willing to boycott home games and just go to a selected number of away games if this action will help the situation.

If that's how they get their news then here's a headline for them: IS HAMPSON REALLY AS INCOMPETENT AS HE APPEARS? Now if they ran a story on that, I might actually buy a copy.

I am fully supportive of the proposals for a stadium at Perdiswell and I have put my comments on the Portal a such. What bothers me about the whole application is this:-
Although I accept that the application is worthwhile and valid and will get passed, the Club have no money to build a stdium, no money to buy the land on which to build it even if the Council were willing to sell some land (which they aren't). The Council appear to be unwilling to give, lease or rent land to the Club for a Stadium so we will end up with permission to build something that we are simply unable to build. Basically, we are F@@**d.

lord E is this the correct way to get them to hold a fans forum, & is this Saturday correct as fans may have other things planned & transport might be an issue, also would it not be better to raise a petition or document & go around the supporters for signature response & then present it to the board with the press there to record it. hope you will be there to lead this Lord E... The Board would take no notice of a petition

I did not attend on Boxing Day because for me, Christmas is about family and even WCFC take second place to that. I'm probably not the only regular supporter who feels this way.
The game on New Years Day may be the first NYD game I have missed for a few years. I am just finding it difficult to summon up entheusiasm when the club is dying and the Board appear to have no plan to address the situation, Perdiswell seems to be further away from happening than ever and nobody outside the Supporters Trust seem to care. Again, I am probably not the only person who feels this way.

Anyway........back to the game. City started brightly (as they did against Harrogate) and had our early chance gone in (smart save from Ashton in the Chorley goal) things may have been different. Had Jacko's volley gone in, it could have been goal of the season. However, once things settled down, Chorley showed their ability in all areas to play the ball around. I don't recall the keeper kicking much long stuff, he concentrated more on rolling the ball to the right back to get moves going. I, too, like Bishop but he was too isolated and so winning anything in the air was almost pointless. Chorley were fitter and stronger all round and it showed in the 2nd half. Their goal didn't stem from a defensive mistake it was more a midfield/up front mistake when we lost possession and were left exposed. A good finish by Carver. Draper pulled off a couple of excellent saves to deny Chorley, but the tactics (I assume they were the tactics) of booting the ball upfield at every opportunity never looked like working. Jacko impressed with a cool head and ball distribution but mainly the team seemed 'rushed' to get rid of the ball. Hopefully Stockport on Monday will see a better performance from the lads. We all need to realise (if not already) that the team will struggle this term as most other teams have bought big etc.. no doubt all recognising the need to stay in this league. Dodger. Yes you are quite right. Now I am not football master tactician and I have never played the game at any sort of level above Sunday League but why when the majority of our team are no more than average height do we insist on playing high balls into the opposition penalty area for our front men to try and get a head to? If we have a number of players with pace in the team then surely we should be trying to keep the ball on the ground and play balls through for these guys to run on to?

It saddens me that I amongst others even have to consider a new club but I do because WCFC is all but dead and gone and it seems there is nothing we can do about it. If starting a new club is deemed to be the best way forward then I will support the proposal. However, a new club has one major obstacle...........it has no ground to play at.

I suggest we give Carl the money that's in the bank to give him a huge wage budget. Have one big blast of a final season, then pull the plug. I am not looking forward to 2 (possibly 3) years of fighting relegation with a squad similar to what we've got now. Let WCFC die asap and see what happens. I'm still banking on the birth of a Worcester Warriers FC. I'm with you

Yes, overall a pretty good display today. Somehow I knew Harrogate would equalise from that late free kick.
One complaint though, where were the announcements during the game? Things like substitutes names, goal scorers names, attendance etc.

The banter has started: the new season must be approaching! I think the post above from Mark was pointing out the correct spelling of Heeley: anyone who can't spell the manager's name ought not to be posting opinions on here. Well spotted Tim, that's exactly what I was doing. The Guy has been at this club for long enough, surely by now people should know who he is and how his name is spelled ffs. It hadn't occurred to me that people might take offence at my post.

I'll be interested to hear the ST's side of this. I still can't see a future if Hampson is at the helm. I agree. Coming from Hampson it just sounds to me like the Trust have been fobbed off with more promises of jam tomorrow and in the meantime nothing changes and the Club is still heading for oblivion.

Don't worry, Mr Hampson has predicted a vibrant (or some such term) future for the club
