3-0 down before half time I fear that the midfield cracks that the last few games have paperd over are being found out. Can't say I'm too surprised as we have been given a bit of a run around in the last two league games.

I think JB knew we'd be up against it tonight - hence the five at the back. At this rate we'll concede a goal for each defender. Don't think we'll be storming back to 3-3 like last season, but I'd love to be proved wrong.

NB board suggests only 703 there. That would be very very worrying if true.
Is it bad weather in Worcester?

Will the board be appologising to the fans after this game.

Don't think the directors will be apologising tonight; they'll be too busy speeding up the appointment process!
Heaviest home defeat for a while....... since 1-5 v Newport in 03-04?

We left at half time, I have never seen such a pitiful performance from City. Total and utter crap!

I remember that Newport game, the difference is that that game could have finished 5-1 to City or 5-5 or 10-10 - it was a crazy game!!

I feel for Barty and Stanty really. From what I've seen this season, the team just aren't good enough. You can raise their game for the occasional performance, but there just isn't the quality needed at this level.

It needs a total clear out, half of those on the park tonight would struggle in The Kidderminster Sunday Premier League and thats no Joke!!. You cant blame the interim management team for this shambles the writing was on the wall and plain for all to see when Bromsgrove routed us pre - season. The directors have to take some of the blame for this shambles.

Totally inept performance against a useful Nuneaton side. How much longer can this midfield be allowed to ghost through games, putting non stop pressure onto our defence who then just boot the ball upfield hoping that Wilding or Wood can get on the end of it?

One of the worst displays from a City side (in the first half) I've ever witnessed ... they just cleared their lines and invited a keen Boro team to dominate them.
One point ... we had a free kick just outside the Nuneaton box and who took it? Craig!!! This topped it all for me. 2nd half we were allowed to play a bit by a comfortable Nuneaton and actually had 2 great chances that Craig and Wardy put wide.
0-4 was a fair result ... could have been far worse if Nuneaton hadn't have relaxed.
Doesn't look promising for Saturday ... with Smudger suspended as well.

If that is true I am am absolutely disgusted, I have seen more spirit and commitment in pub league. Who on earth is worth £700 a week? None of our players that is for certain. I have never seen any of our players play with the commitment that Nuneaton showed last night. I am surprised they didnt win 10 - 0. They must have taken it easy in the second half! They could have still been 3-0 up with half the effort at half time. Mr T has never left a match early before, in all the hundreds of years he has been subjecting himself to this drivel. And I dont mean 10 minutes - we left at half time!

Couldn't agree more - the former managers policy of playing with no midfielders (and very few midfielders in the squad) has come home to roost. I don't think commitment is the problem, its lack of ability. Just ask yourself how many of our players would look comfortable in a Top 5 side?

the writing was on the wall and plain for all to see when Bromsgrove routed us pre - season. That, at least, is true. Its a defeat after two successive home league wins Last 6 in the league P 6 W2 D2 L2 Pts 8 Probably a true reflection of our place in the pecking order - seriously mid-table. It is a lot better than than being seriously mid table in the SLP

He has a fierce shot from dead ball or open play its a shame we dont see more of it

Oh Dear!! The city played with no wide men again. But Nuneaton did. And they showed that it is effective. Time and time again they just used the big hoof to get the ball up the field. A tactic of previous times when Barton was the regular manager. Also playing Troy Wood and the target man is crazy, especially when the defender he is against is around 6ft tall. The lad just doesn't have a chance, and it is not fair on him.
No doubt the situation of the management position is also playing on the minds of the playing staff. Knowing that a new man might be appointed in the ensuing weeks, and that their positions are vunerable. Their moral must be on the ground.

If you're going to confuse him, make him work to save the damn thing. 2-1 at that point and we'd have had half a chance as we played ok second half.

Their moral must be on the ground. That would be the only thing that is on the ground! far too much hoof.
