What’s people’s views that went yesterday? For me my previous comment with Stoddart CM looks a good shout now after putting ‘special k’ there yesterday. More like porridge oats to me. Baldwin again showing why he should be the pin up boy. Be interested to see what people would play Tuesday night?

Special K was like soggy weetabix, Balders made a big difference when he came on, yes flagged off side a couple of time but the lino was not up with play so guessed, why withington not in the squad??? to many changes for me, but we got a point that should have been 3, two defensive errors... and were told that the lads would play football on that type of pitch, but as usual the lobbed long ball that went straight to their keeper, or defender if not went out, not good going forward missing out midfield just keeps putting the defence on the back foot, need to play a different game on Tuesday, change keeper for one, hope English is back, not sure why he was missing yesterday, think we need to go back to basics & play hard with a team that wants to win it smart.

Agree your asking a pub player to be our pin up boy! Are you serious? If that’s the case then it shows that we are nothing but a pub team ourselves! Baldwin would t even be in my squad of 16, nothing between his ears to even be a team player. Fair play to him scoring the goal but that was the only and I mean only thing he did right in his little cameo appearance |

Ohhhh Paul, Luke has been missing since Long Eaton when he injured his ankle. Attoumani I thought did well seeing as though it was his first time linking with lads. Broke up play and assisted the first goal. Our midfield misses a player like him, big, strong and doesn't mind a tackle, give him time to settle. I think he will show qualities that Emeka showed back in the day. |

I’ll be honest I wasn’t aware that he did, thought it was rumours. But no that’s not acceptable but hopefully was sorted in house and won’t happen again.

Ikleston at home he had a bloody good go 🤔 think we may need to agree to disagree on this one. If he played on the Sunday that’s not good but it was managements decision if that’s the case to keep him and for me with what we got he should be playing every game

I suppose it's good that some people are passionate enough to have this debate, but if the thread is about the game it should be about more than one player.
Fact is we dropped another two points by conceding a late goal, just like we did versus Loughborough.
Reading the Chairman's comments last week and also Snapper's comments post match, the language suggests to me they have given up on the prospect of winning promotion this season.

Don’t want to beat a dead horse by bringing up Baldwin again, but I’m not as outraged as some by his decision to play Sunday morning football before a game. It’s unrealistic as a Midland Prem team to expect the same level of commitment from players as we would playing in the VNN. If you’re annoyed by his decision to play Sunday League, that’s fair enough, but I think going as far as to call him a disgrace is a bit extreme.
