I went to the game expecting to lose, so for me a point and a much better display by the lad's was comforting. If we had managed to come away with the 3 points, would there still be criticism of some of the player's?

Dave Reynolds is still signed on for Redditch, so you can't include him. Why do we have armchair managers picking teams? Reserve that for your fantasy football teams.
The manager is paid to pick the team.

Dave Reynolds played for us against Westfields because Redditch had no game that day, and incidentally set up the first goal for Westfields with a careless crossfield pass, which was duly seized upon.

I've been surprised that there has been no mention on this Forum or the Bromsgrove Forum of the appalling behaviour of a minority of the Bromsgrove fans. We got treated to a stream of anti-city chants in the first half - ok but why they can't chant in support of their team I have no idea. When we switched ends approximately 30 of fans decided to stay at the same end. The atmosphere felt unpleasant - any comment on the game leapt upon. Then the fisticuffs and mayhem started. I can only guess they were fighting amongst themselves because there were hardly any City fans about. What is the matter with these people?
As for the football, City played well in the first half against a team with 4 first teamers and then hung on for grim death in the second half when 3 further first teamers came on. Great result all things considered.

Great result all things considered. The brawl was a family feud ! Known people to Bromsgrove and some involved part of the their "Ultras Massive"...which haven't attended Sporting games this year. Police were called (despite Bromsgrove not thinking it was necessary, unfortunately I didn't agree). I will be reviewing the CCTV Saturday to gather images to pass over to West Mercia Police and Bromsgrove. All of them should be banned Unfortunately their supporters on the forum (one of them anyway) too busy complaining about the language from our bench |

Didn’t the same thing happen the last time we played them a couple of years ago? No that was trouble between a group from each Club. This was a fight between Bromsgrove supporters themselves which apparently I am told by Bromsgrove was a family feud. |
