Right then, FOR THE LAST TIME, ............
The appeal has been submitted. The appeal had to be submitted within 6 months of the rejection. A time frame cannot be put on it as the Planning Inspectorate have to consider many things.
I'm sure that you will be made aware of the outcome as soon as everyone else is....
Reminds me of a kid in the back of the car asking "are we nearly there yet.....?" every 5 minutes.

I’ve answered this before to a direct question from you. You’ve either forgotten the answer or more likely just struggling to find things to be negative about. Let’s hear the many positive responses that you have to the queries about PW. Even better come and find me NYD and I will buy you a pint and ask any questions you might have. See you there....

I’ve not forgotten your answer: “The appeal has been submitted within the timescale previously mentioned. It’s in the hands of the planning inspectorate now. I assume the council will need to hire someone to defend their decision now that it’s in. Hope that helps.”
Nonneed to be so defensive and aggressive, it is a fair question to ask again as there doesn’t appear to be anything on the planning inspector website to confirm the appeal is in and running?

Why do you repeatedly post regarding this topic downthelane?
On 15 October you stated on here: "Sensible folk would realise the project is dead. RIP Perdiswell."
So if it's dead why can't you let go?

'The appeal was submitted to the Planning Inspectorate at the end of October 2017. The appeal has been validated by the Planning Inspectorate however due to the amount of appeals they are currently handling they have not currently been able to appoint an Inspector to handle the appeal. As soon as an Inspector in the appropriate location with the appropriate experience is available the Planning Inspectorate will issue a start letter setting out the requirements and timescales of the appeal'.

Just to clarify, Rob was never on the Supporters Trust Board. Rob has been the company secretary for last 8 years, and has been a very active Trust member during those years. Rob will continue to be an active member of the Supporters Trust. I'd like to put on record the sterling work that Rob has done to ensure that the ST has remained compliant, and has delivered AGMs for members every year.

So the trust secretary and someone I considered the main spokesman for the trust (think I saw him on telly once) was not on the trust board. That seems bizarre to me.

No, not on the Board. And no requirement for him to be on the Board. In the same way as John Jordan was Company Secretary at the football club for 7 years was never on the Board. There is no requirement to be on the Board of Directors of the Trust to be able to contribute to Trust activities. We are a CBS, we are owned by our members, and our members are all able to contribute fully. Its actually a good idea for the company secretary not to be on the Board, as there can be times when administrative documents can only be executed by a company secretary and NOT a Director. It does avoid potential compliance issues too.

Bonzo - are you another on here who struggles with simple English ?
No, some members are not more equal than others, but some members can offer more to the Trust ( such as Perdiswell design and planning assistance ) through their personal expertise. Inviting those members to a Board meeting just strikes me as being far easier to discuss things and to go through documents than over the phone ! It's hardly difficult to understand.

Looked on the website and there's a vague promise to publish names and background bios which has probably been there since the website was launched. No, all members are equal, any member who has good ideas and input to put to the Board are able to do so. Our main impetus for the last few years has been to deliver Perdiswell, and as Alwaysnextyear says, when we sit as a Board, it makes sense to have first hand updates. When the members voted to take Perdiswell to appeal, Mark Taylor was present at the meeting. He'd already been to a Board meeting to give a full explanation of the process. I'm pretty sure that the the architects working on Parsonage Way are invited to the club Board meeting. The Perdiswell project team have been invited to club Board meetings as well. Last Board meeting we had, we invited Kev Preece, as reported in the Worcester News. Its how we do business, its fair and equitable, and means that we can present most up to date and relevant material to our members as often as possible. If you're not satisfied with the way that the Trust Board works, you are welcome to let us know, and if your concerns are valid, then I'll suggest that you are invited along to our next Board meeting to voice your concerns. If you'd like to put yourself forward as the new company secretary, then please, feel free.
