she's Miss Worcester, and qualified for Miss England?
Is it me or have standards slipped somewhat? You used to have to be attractive!
No offence duck, but I hope it's a bad photo

Miss Worcester seems to be easier to win than the Intertoto Cup

You know there is a rumour that some Worcester City fans can only bring themselves to look for something negative in anything to do with the club. The Gods alone know where it started... www.worcesternews.co.uk/news/wnnewsgallery/missworcestershire2007/Well done to the club for making an effort. The Q&A session should be particularly interesting, I'm sure the questions will reflect the positive hopes that we all have for the club this season.

Not criticising the club as such here guys - the kit launch is normally a well planned event.
Just commenting on the whole "Miss" competitions - sure wasn't last year's winner actually from Stoke on Trent - and never actually came near Worcester except for the final of the whole thing?

Excellent way to stir up interest in the new and most vital season the club has ever faced.

My comment was absolutely nothing to do with the club, and was entirely to do with the standard of entry to Miss Worcester, which is rather disappointing to say the least. I'm all in favour of the club promoting the kit launch and hosting a forum. It's just a pity that the photo shoot will be of a considerably lower standard than in previous seasons.

I hear Darrell tried unsuccesfuly to enter the BBC Young Musician of the Year. His mother walked in on them...

I preferred Natalie Denning based on that picture above; still, she may look better in the flesh. I shall have to force myself to go to make an informed judgement.

Excellent way to stir up interest in the new and most vital season the club has ever faced. And we've had a few of those over the years havent we? Seriously though we have to perform this season or I see major changes. Probably as importnat is a good Cup run this year. I heard that the last one saved the club from the bank pulling the plug and has kept us going for two years so its probably time for a nother one. vital season for us and this is a good bit of pr by the club so well done

Judging by them photos they must have hada good supply of Pedigree Chum that night - Bow Wow. Third place girl looked a bit of alright. I suppose they vote on personality now and the winner probably wanted to do more to save the planet.

The saving the planet theory holds water as I note that Al Gore tied for fifth place with a young lady from Lower Broadheath.

A good Cup run would be just the ticket. Can we wangle our way into the south west area for the draws for the early rounds?

Based on the fact that Corals' Worcester shops have recently been moved from Midlands/Wales to South West. I think we should!

I don't know what some people are complaining about. The photo that I looked at is of a rather attractive young woman. Mind, in am in the mid 70's.

It must be a good session at Saint George's Lane tonight. Two hours since it started and seemingly no-one back home yet to tell us what was said.

It must be a good session at Saint George's Lane tonight. Two hours since it started and seemingly no-one back home yet to tell us what was said. I was there, Got home (Hallow Road) at about 7.30. Andy Preece had to leave for a training session, though most questions raised had been answered. New Ground is at a "Delicate Stage" between wcfc, St Mowdens and solicitors. The ground at Nunnery Way is penciled in for a football ground and once agreements can be made then hopefully it will take 2 (two) years to build, Dave Boiddy suggested season 2009!!! No goalkeeper cover, but the club had contacts with a number of goalkeepers should they be needed. Nuneaton at SGL 1st round proper of Setanta Shield No club captain yet decided. Red & White away kit, Red Shorts & RED Socks Miss Worcester looked better than her photo BSTANDER loitering in the car park cause he couldn't smoke inside ha ha

I will be typing this out for the wcfc website but for anyone interested here is the recording I made with my bean tins and a piece of string. Its 12mb so you'll need a to be patient if you don't have a fast connection. Oh and sorry about some of the quality but as I said it is intended for use with notes. but anyway here goes... Host was Paul Curtis answering questions from a healthy sized gathering was Chairman Dave Boddy and Manager Andy Preece. www.worcestercityfc.co.uk/resources/DW_B0024.wav
