Shows how massively ineffective Steve Carley was in his tenure here after the sterling work by the late Tony Moore I thought Steve was a very good reporter personally. I cannot say I can recall the last time we were front page (maybe Coventry, but don't I have no clue), but his match reports were almost always fair, and I think he even won a journalism report one year for his writings on us. He's certainly improved at the match commentaries on radio too - I wasn't so keen at the start of the year.

So in the article my Coleman states they are waiting for the application to be the submitted. Have the issues been sorted regarding the objections?( 4g pitch dimensions etc) or are there more we don't know about? Thought this had been done a while back?

Surely a social media campaign could be launched by those that use them along the lines of the old City on Tour shirts photos that were on the old club website. So pictures of Streets names around Worcester with a City shirt or scarf draped over it to show support maybe starting at Drovers Way or Blanquettes Avenue? Not a user of Twitter etc myself so unsure how easy to do.

I suspect there would be a fair few people willing to chip in a fiver each in order to have an oversized flag of sorts made, unless of course we already have one (not an England flag with WCFC on it). Something along the lines of that which Gloucester have. I know a few teams in our league have similar too.

I actually thought a better place would be on one of the ends, so that it can get caught on the highlights cam once in a while? Either or though.

If it goes in the empty stand we'll probably need to employ 10 more stewards to watch over it ?

I think Verner has said enough times why the steward numbers are what they are, I have too said in the past that I think there's a couple too many, but making little jibes about it isn't going to help, it is.

To be fair most people understand it. But theres still a number of people who dont understand the rulings. Imagine how many stewards we would have to have if at Sixways !! Plus weve got 5 more at Aggborough than we did at SGL....car parks and fire steward...something we didnt have or need back in the day

I don't much understand the rulings, I just get the ''while at Aggy, we're not allowed any less''.

Everything should be taken into account, emergency exits, routes, capacity numbers are higher or lower.
All in all its set in the grounds safety certificate. We dont meet that then the local authorities have the authority to reduce capacities, stop events going ahead with prohibition notices etc etc
But hey....lets get back to the banners !

So long as it doesn't have anything like ''the world famous'' on it, I'll be happy enough. I've not a clue how much a banner would cost to have made up, maybe a fiver each would be too little.

give me an idea and i will to see an associate who does this as a business & get a quote, i could also go to banners & balloons to get a competitive quote. just want some thoughts on what background & what words, I have some Worcester Flags that i could bring as well to surround banner, more to say we are a Worcester team...

I'm quite happy to chuck a tenner for any banners or flags. I'm sure the stewards won't mind us sticking them up in the empty east stand. The bigger the better i say. Let's try & get the message across we need to come home while we still have a club.
Lay off Capt Denzil it was a joke anyone can see that. Some people on here get a little uptight.
