It is a big if, but wasn't it great to at least be in the draw?

This is really getting quite silly and childish: from two grown men as well!

Have Harriers done us a favour by beating Lincoln so heavily? Or will their manager be "looking for a response"? I'm not sure, but I do think we've got a chance next Saturday, especially if Phil Trainer is allowed to play.

We are rapidly becoming the 0-0 draw specialists of Skrill North.
Oh for someone who can score! I wonder if Carl would consider playing Nti and Moore up front? I know it was only against Workington but Moore scored twice in that game, and it's no good having him just warm the bench all the time.

Why not? It's a very pleasant experience at Aggboro' - even watching Harriers might be!
Let's face it they have been very hospitable to us City fans; can't fault them really.

They had a good win against Eastleigh (top of Skrill South) last week in the FA Cup, so will be hard work.

Can't wait for the Lincoln game now; really feel that, with the pressure all on them and off us, we have a chance.

Ah - we have lift-off. Steve Miller, who normally does Harriers commentaries, doing the commentary and sounds as if he wishes he wasn't there!

Disagree about Aaron Williams: thought he was pathetic (and that was before that awful miss). I was calling for him to be substituted long before he was taken off. Don't think he contributes anything and besides that he relegates Moore (who can score goals) to the bench.
Tuesday's night's replay will be a very tough affair, with a lot to play for.
We were not alone in our disappointment: what about Stockport going out 1-0 to Rushall Olympic and league leaders Hednesford being held to a draw by a team THREE levels below them?

I thought he was a great addition to the squad, and not over-rated, but you can't have players picking and choosing when they will play, and in the interest of the club Carl has made the right decision. So, it would appear that the rumour just prior to the previous round against Sphinx, which was denied, was after all true! He played a similar trick on Harriers last season if you remember, departing for Mansfield after just playing in the pre-season friendlies.
We only want committed players.

Not strictly "on post" but I notice that Gainsboro' Trinity have been kicked out of the competition for fielding an ineligible player in the last round and Rushall Olympic reinstated: and where do they go this Saturday? Away to Stockport COunty (who beat Barrow 4-2 away on Tuesday and are now up to 11th in the league).

Who is Callum Flanagan? Never heard of him.
And "city great"? There was nothing "great" about Kyle Patterson when I watched him play; he was clearly uninterested.

I asked Vicky (Heeley) why Ethan and Exodus were missing - she said both were nursing minor injuries and it was better if they didn't play this week with Stockport coming up next. Carl is quoted in the Worcester News as refuting the suggestion that Exodus didn't play as he didn't want to be cup-tied.
On the pitch we did what we had to and the game was very reminiscent of last year's match at Gornal, with the underdogs clearly the better side for the first half-hour, although Sphinx hit the woodwork twice, which GOrnal didn't. Once the first goal went in we began to settle (a bit!) but the lad who kicked Taundry really couldn't have picked a worse place to do it - right under the referee's nose and a red was inevitable.
A word of praise for the referee too: for the most part he was unobtrusive - which is usually a good sign, and he was always up with the play.
I agree with those above: Niall Thompson looked very much the part, with pace and a hefty shot (but not with his left foot!).
We did what we had to which was WIN and we have been rewarded with a home tie too, so that can't be bad, although - word of warning - Rugby scored six last Saturday in what the FA website describes as "...an emphatic 6-0 win over Blaby & Whetstone Athletic".
An interesting fact too - we were the very first club out of the hat in the 3rd Qualifying Round draw!

That's more like it City. Performances all over the park and four goals to boot.
Thought that Moore and Nti harried their suspect looking defence in the first half and deserved the two goals they earned between them. Nti was unjustly booked for the spat with their number 3: as far as I could see Nti was totally blameless, and their guy threw himself on the floor when he realised what he'd done - no doubt to convince the referee (as he did) that Nti should also be booked. A shameful piece of play-acting.
I think I did Phil Trainer an injustice: that was a much better performance from him, and he took the weight off Tom Thorley, who as a result had a much better game.
The goals from Exodus and Danny Glover were both peaches. How Exodus managed to get so far forward I shall never know and I look forward to seeing the video highlights. All in all a good all-round team performance saw us deservedly get our first win. Here's to many more!
