That's more like it City. Performances all over the park and four goals to boot.
Thought that Moore and Nti harried their suspect looking defence in the first half and deserved the two goals they earned between them. Nti was unjustly booked for the spat with their number 3: as far as I could see Nti was totally blameless, and their guy threw himself on the floor when he realised what he'd done - no doubt to convince the referee (as he did) that Nti should also be booked. A shameful piece of play-acting.
I think I did Phil Trainer an injustice: that was a much better performance from him, and he took the weight off Tom Thorley, who as a result had a much better game.
The goals from Exodus and Danny Glover were both peaches. How Exodus managed to get so far forward I shall never know and I look forward to seeing the video highlights. All in all a good all-round team performance saw us deservedly get our first win. Here's to many more!

Nti did raise his hands when he reacted. On another day it could have been a straight red.
I didn't think it was our best performance of the season but we really used the pace of Nti and Moore to good effect.
To me the game today was reassuring in as much as it proved that this squad of players can compete at this level.

Different kind of performance today, we were much more direct at times which suits the personel we have better. Not long ball we just got the ball forward quicker.

A good result for team and supporter confidence as well as league position. With inevitable late signings it will take time for things to gel but it sounds as if that is starting. The reports of the goals by Exodus and Danny will make the highlights compulsory viewing!

Brilliant performance and deserved ovation from the fans at the end.
The players were getting stuck in, not letting Workington settle down. Getting a foot in here, a tackle there. The first two goals being a result of harrying their back line. Maybe the purist would consider them fortunate but you make your own luck. Time and again in the first half the ball over the top had their defence back pedaling with Glover, Nti and Moore enjoying more possession in the final third than they have had all season.
When the visitors threatened the City defence stood firm with Hutchinson at right back looking very solid. Indeed it was refreshing to see the City back line on the front foot for a change and not chasing shadows.
The second half goals sealed the win, an absolute cracker from Glover capping another fine performance from him.
City closed out the game with some controlled play especially in midfield. Can't wait for the highlights to confirm it wasn't all a dream.
I think our keeper had one save to make all game, contrast that with theirs who was kept busy throughout.
Referring to some of the previous comments it was apparent that one way the visitors were going to deal with Nti was to try and get him sent off. The incident just before half-time saw City win a throw in on the half way line, and Nti was being held back preventing him from getting to the ball and taking a quick throw. As he shrugged him off the defender launched himself full length as if he was an Olympic swimmer diving in to the pool. Both players were booked.
Unfortunately Shabir also got booked right at the end for nothing more than a nudge.
On a personal note, having followed the City for 47 years or so I think this is the first time I have returned from Aggborough following a City win. Hopefully more to follow....

Fair play City I thought we we were gr8 all ovef the park. Glover was outstanding with his of the ball movement and Nti is a player that will go on to bigger things. Very impressed by this performance I can only say that we are all happy with this result. Onwards and upwards COYB.

Great stuff but it doesn't get any easier with a tough tough game at Telford next up.
But well done today, to all concerned. More of the same, please...

It would be easy to get carried away after yesterday, but who cares.
Yes Workington were desparately poor, but we were good all over the pitch. Don't like to single anyone out, but Trainer was superb, allowing TT to pull the strings.
Hope Danny Glover doesn't get too frustrated playing behind Nti - he's not a natural there, and makes a few errors, but his football brain is excellent - looked more at home once Nti took a rest.
The victory beer was so sweet last night and here's too many more. My father-in-law, who is Harriers through and through, suddenly has a soft spot for the City and now talks in terms of "we" - can't say I feel the same though!!!!!
