Some clubs don't seem to care about having clear rules for such things.
I remember at Scunthorpe there was a guy selling generic football merch from including flags and hats from a couple of tables just outside the archway to their ground, and he had a Scunthorpe steward stood next to him (had the same jacket as the rest of them with club crest on and all), they were talking away like mates. My dad went and bought a blue and white flag from them, but was then told it's not allowed in the ground because it could be used as a projectile, and that the guy selling stuff had nothing to do with the club. When in the ground we saw probably 10-11 of the same flag. I emailed their security officer and head of merchandising asking why the stewards seemed to let some flags in and others not, and why a steward was stood with the merch seller. Their response was an utter fob off saying ''he's there each game, he's nothing to do with us, stewards have the right stop people taking anything into the ground that might be used to harm others or disrupt the match.''. Still didn't answer why their steward was stood next to him, which in a way gave the seller some legitimacy.

Exactly the same with me, I still have the actual flag but they took the stick off me as it could been poked in someones eye, I use the flag as a background for my memorabilia, From pin badges to match tickets.

In case you haven't seen it already there is a seperate thread where you can vote on the final design here: PollThis can't happen without funding so please get behind this and play your part in getting the message across to the Council. No funding, no banner. Let's make this happen: Help fund the bannerPlease help by sharing on Facebook and tweeting link/retweeting. #bringcityhome

They are home though aren't they? They were playing at Sixfields then managed to get to go back to The Ricoh.

The hashtag #BringCityHome is already printed on the tickets for the FCUoM game. Looking on twitter, it's used sparingly by Gloucester fans, last used in October. The last tweet I spotted by a Coventry supporter was July. Cov started using it July/August 2014 from what I can tell, whereas Worcester fans started using it a couple of months later. Cov are back home now, and so they don't have need for their hashtag, the most recent tweets I see are by our lot, and it's catchy, so I think we can use it. I cannot see someone getting confused and thinking we're trying to support a club that is already playing at home.

I would happily display a car sticker if these were made available.

I would happily display a car sticker if these were made available. Firstly, welcome to the Banter Board, there's been a few people who seem to have joined to vote on the banner, and give their thoughts, which is brilliant! I think the car stickers might be a bit beyond us for now, as we're trying to focus our efforts on banners, and ideas for the FC United game on 5th March, but it might be something to look at in the near future! I think the best way to distribute car stickers would be to sell them through the club shop for about £1, and have the club/ST keep any profit their might be. I think this would be separate from the banner fund however.

The funds from the banner campaign have to go towards flags/banners as this is what people have donated to. Using the entirety of the banner fund for that purpose also means that a bigger impact can be made. Trust me it will be BIG if we can hit the final target.
We just need a final push on donations to get to the target so that the full plan can be put into place.
If you haven't already donated please strongly think about doing so. This is a one off opportunity to create maximum impact: Donate to the Banner Fund here
In any event please spread the word.

Rumours from the Protect Perdiswell Park facebook page that the planning app may go before the committee next month (24th March). If true, all the more reason to get behind the banner fund.
The timing for sending a message to the Council is perfect.

Positive news put in the typically negative fashion we've got used to from PPP.
If you're for or against the planning application, surely everyone wants to be able to move forward.
