I like your optimism Colin, I think it will be 2-0 with attendance 672, with a stonking performance from City

Depends whether new faces have arrived by Saturday. If not I fear the worst.

I cannot see where you get the optimism for a stonking performance against Hinckley United Gobby. You are optimistic!
Colin is his usually happy self, although at Redditch he was somewhat disgruntled and left before the final whistle.

Because I have faith in RD and the lads. If they dont make any effort I will no doubt lose my voice shouting at them.

In RDs interview he mentioned a number of 'seven day notices' going in.
Which would push the timeframe beyond Saturday.

Your back then, and tell them the full story,it was after the third goal in injury time.

Andy what does 'seven day notices' mean? Is that to approach a club regarding signing a player and for full time, a loan or either?

I fear a long drawn out affair ending with a 1-1 draw in front of 673 at half time and 400 at the final whistle. Why leave before the end, there's hardly a massive traffic problem leaving The Lane?

2-1 to City in front of 812.
813 if I don't have to work.

7 Days notice, usually means the player is non-contract, I belive.

Does that mean he is getting rid of players or getting some in?

Does that mean he is getting rid of players or getting some in? Seven days normally means that he will be putting in a transfer request for a non contracted player from another club. The term 7 days comes from the amount of notice period required by the league for one player swapping clubs, (so if the 7 days request is recieved on the Monday, then the player is allowed to play for the new club on the following Monday.) That said, most leagues can be flexible on the amount of days in certain circumstances and might allow a shorter notice period.

Alfiepie has explained most of it.
7 days notice is the way that Barrett joined Southport earlier in the season. As a non-contract player, City had no long-term call on his services, and by Southport giving notice (as they wanted him), he moved to Southport.
Not sure how it works in practice - I presume the player in question must be amenable to the move, and that the Club to whom he is non-contract at the time have no powers of retention. I do not know if a Club can legally put a player onto a contract once a notice has been received.
Any Club having a lot of non-contract players is at risk of losing them by these means.

Yes, it was after the third goal, but still before the final whistle. Which is not like you at all.

If I recall correctly, there were about two nanoseconds before the kick-off after the third goal being scored and the final whistle being blown.

AC did pretty well in the prediction getting the score right, but missing out slightly on the attendance figure. Well done!!
