preecey you are getting obsessed, I do think the directors should ask the people who use it if they are happy for it to be there. Your arguement about being hit by a ball is valid but this is not worth getting all wound up about. I have only seen one regular gentleman - what does he think?
I could go on about the ladies loos until I am blue in the face but the club does not have the money and as it is run by men they concept that a loo should have a seat is quite beyond them! The club has done its best, I am happy to suffer in silence as I am expecting the bestest ladies loos at the new ground! I am expecting them to ask for my input on design, decor etc. I cannot see the point of building a men's toilet when you could all pee up a tree.
In fact that sounds like a good half time competition.

Ive put the poll on here simply to get the view of more than three people thats all.
I agree it could be done at half time to see who can pee the furthest up a tree, better than the half time Penalty Shoot Out we have going these days.

I cant understand a word the man is saying so I dont pay any attention. Maybe the Directors could see fit to fix the speaker on the shed, second season now it has not been working.
I think I have caught wingyitus of webbtony!
Can you add a choice of "the best place after discussions with those that use it" as I would vote that

It be better if they had our sub keeper in goal instead of the dragon and that the winner actually wins something.
I thought the crossbar challenge was better.
God girl don't turn into webbtony

This is an important facility provided by the Club, funded in a special way that means a lot to some people.
I am fortunate enough that I dont need to use it and recognise that those who do will be the best advisers on the practicalities and desirability of its location.

Agreed, this is more than an important facility, it is a legal requirement under the Disability Discrimination Act 1995. The club has to provide access to the same facilities it provides to members of the public. So in some respects there is a way to go as I don't believe the Social Club provides access to certain disabled customers. There should be access to toilets for disabled customers too I would imagine. The problem with the disabled stand is that it was just thrown together as a simple viewing platform, in a gorund which isn't designed to cater for the DDA. Another good reason for a ground move surely. As far as moving the stand is concerned, then yes it should be put back where it came from if it is safe to do so (and there's no reason why it shouldn't be as it was there before). If I had to use that stand, I'd want to be able to see the game I've paid for!!!

Disabled areas at most grounds are at the front and often in the corner of the ground. As to the siting of our stand the old site would appear best, though this is from my able bodied point of view.

But it obstructs the entrance on to the pitch for the mower etc. A compromise can be found with some discussion between the users and the club I am sure.

It is like having one disabled parking space on a car park. If the car park is full, do you park in the disabled space because it is empty, and sod it if a disabled driver comes along. That goes for the disabled stand as well GC. If it is one person or four, it is there if they need it.
