2-1 City; a Wilding header in the first period of extra time. Fine save by Wright from Mark Owen keeps City ahead.

Penalties indeed - but just the one, to City.
Wilding makes it 3-2 to the blues with a couple of mins to go.

Has anyone seen Matt Dinsmore play? He certainly seems to get in the thick of the action. He was fouled for the City penalty. The lad certainly seems to be pushing for a first team place based on his recent goal instincts for the reserves. Good to see Craig netting again. He's a very good player, who just needs to up his goal tally...

Well RD put out a strong team, as did Evesham, all bluff and double bluff.
I am glad we had to go to festive Bromyard as I hate it when it goes to extra time, my nerves cant cope with it.
Good win, I just hope noone is injured because of it.

BBC HW had the goalscorers wrong, crediting two goals to Adam Webster, when it would appear it was two to Craig.
So far we are unbeaten under RD's management, but only against sides lower than us; the real test comes Saturday when we play Harrogate!
Still, the fairytale continues.

We must give Evesham credit. They fought well to keep in the game and at times it looked as if they might just shade it. They have quite a good side there.
The Ref and his officials were a bit wanting. Three times the Evesham goalkeeper should have been penalised, but they gave nothing. Once for kicking the ball out of his hands outside the area, the Assistant Ref was by the half-way line so couldn't see, what bad positioning, Two he jumped for the ball leading with his right foot showing his studs and caught Dinsemore. Three he pulled Dinsemore to the ground with two hands, right in front of the Ref.

You can only beat what is in front of you! It is lower placed sides that we have lost against before RD came in so what is the problem? Also the Evesham announcer had a shocker, When Wilding came on he was called Willding, then when he got his 1st goal it changed to Warden then he became Walton when he got the 3rd...Goodnight John Boy and as for Macca...well that was pure comedy, he even blamed the mike for braking up whilst trying to mumble Nwadike.

;DThe manager thought it worthwhile GC, as it gave him a chance to look at other players on the fringe. Also it could give the team a boost in confidence, having won three matches on the trot. Can't be bad!!!

I would rather they beat Harrogate and Redarseitch then win the WSC. But then again with their new found spirit they may well do that as well.
Are Redarseitch not in it then?
