Another year, another roller coaster ride. Thinking about the +s and -s of the year. I'm sure we can all think of a few negatives - but I don't want to dwell on them. However, the positives have to be: the arrival of RD - I like what I've heard and seen so far; and the web site. It gets better and better. Well done Wayne and all involved.

Shouldn't that be 2007 Andy? The negative for me has to be our start to the season and the early exits from FA Cup and Trophy. ANd the positive? Yes - the arrival of Richard Dryden; I know it's early days but I just have the right feeling about this guy.

I am not dwelling on the negatives of 2007, with RD and CH I can only see positives and I reckon we will have a good end to this season

The only real positive of the year has been the St Modwen link up with the ground move.
I'll reserve judgement on the management team until "New Manager Syndrome" has passed by , after all, we were all so impressed with the professionalism and attitude (and results) of the Preece/Morrison dream team when they first arrived. Having said that, at least we havent had the usual crap of the "this is the first year of a 5 year plan" spouted by managers who know they won't be around for years 4 or 5, and they can coast through years 1 and 2 with no expectations!! So things could be looking up in that direction.
The other positive is the light in the Brookside bogs, and the improvement in Ealings aim!!!

"the improvement in Ealings aim" - sadly my aim is beyond repair - but at least I can see where it's going, and where it should be going now.

Positives: A new manager with more than the one tactic. A potential end to the financial uncertainty. Negatives: The need for major surgery on what was at the end of last season quite a strong squad The potential disaster (personally speaking of course - Ealing may see it as a positive) of heading into Conference South!

If that does happen I am not too bothered as I am of the opinion that RD will get City to the Conference come hell or high water

Positives for me: the commitment of the chairman and his resolve to end the drift towards mediocrity that the AP reign was becoming; with all the hassle and hard work of the ground negotiations it would have been all too easy to let AP see out his contract until the end of this season. As it is we have a young, dynamic management team that feel they have the opportunity to prove their worth and improve the club, rather than simply waiting for a better offer to materialise. 2008 - onwards and upwards.

Positive for me, setting up Mazeys goal in the BM
