7 points out of a possible 9. Not bad for the new management team.
But still a long way to go. But getting 2 wins on the trot will put confidence back into the team.

Twice in two matches things have improved measurably after half time. That has to be largely down to RD. A great start and signs that we are playing football on the ground (although we didnt for 25 first half minutes yesterday and surrendered the initiative as a result). If we pass and move we are a top half team and if we can play like we didi in the second half for 90 mins then things are very promising. Add a central defender and possibly a true wide man and...

I see Ray Woods has said "... I hope the relationship will be better than it has been with other managers." It's sad to think "other managers" haven't had a good relationship with Ray and his squad. He's been very successful and the youth policy is supposed to be there for the benefit of the club. The idea that Dryden's got a different attitude is yet another positive message emerging from the Lane.

He was talking positively about lads coming up through the ranks last night. I was pleased to hear that. Shows that the youngsters are talented when the winner and runner up of POTM were both under 20.
Am I the only one who finds RD's lovely Gloucestershire accent endearing?

"Am I the only one who finds RD's lovely Gloucestershire accent endearing?" No you're not GC. Not quite the pure Woozershire - but close enough. One of my biggest regrets in life is that my accent has got "rounded off" over the years. I wish I talked like my dad, uncles and aunties did. No one outside of the Faithful City would understand me - but (as a Welshman would say) fyck 'em.

A great start for the new management team, collecting 7 points out of a possible 9. It all seems to be working well right now and the management are making good use of the players they have. Richard & King Carl are working wonders but lets not forget the rest of the back room staff, in particularly Paul Carty who I noticed is still around helping to do stuff and motivating the players ..... clearly he is making a valuable contribution!!

Yes - I hope Paul Carty stays around; he knows the game, and the club, inside out.
