The grass/ground not froze in Ledbury then?, with the forcast being much the same with the stand covering the edge of the pitch i'll go with Brookies prediction that the game will be off, but i hope he's wrong

Presumably if we move to Conf South the ground won't get such bad frosts?

The current forecast is for overcast weather with temperatures just above freezing from now until Saturday evening. Unless this changes I would expect the game to be on.

I checked the forecast last Sunday night to see if we'll be getting a game this Sunday, and there was no mention of all the frozen weather we've got at the moment during this week. I'm predicting a white out on Saturday morning.

Are you saying that he uses his weather station to lure young boys in?

No, I'm reading that Mazey went into Paul Damari's weather station.

My Dad taught him at school, mind you that goes for nearly all the kids who went through the education system via Cherry Orchard in the 60's and 70's (including our own Benny Hill) and via Pitmaston in the 80's - a lot of kids!!
The game will be well on on Saturday. Just heard the most banal weather forecast ever on BBC, the guy said "its going to be a bit cold all over thecountry today" well f**k me sideways, December and its going to be a bit cold!!!!!

Yes but its not the school it once was, the old school felt like a musuem piece. I remember going there in school holidays to help Dad out with various work (contrary to popular belief, teachers do work in school holidays) and thinking what an amazing school it was, whilst being warned by my dad not to lick the lead hand rails!!!

I Think I played there for St Steven's many years ago with Bill Jackman as our teacher. They had a pitch behind the ground. Maybe Brooksider Senior was the teacher there? This would have been in pre-history - around 1962.

This would have been in pre-history - around 1962. I don't know Ealing, I don't know which year he started at Cherry Orchard, before that he was at Comer Gardens. Yes the pitches are still there, and you could walk down from theschool to the pitches. They had a concrete garage at the pitches with all the kit in it. This was in the pre-vandalism years!!!
