Defeence needs strengthening (why Burley on bench?) Do you really need a reply to that? AP was the one who reckoned he was the best left back in the league, and AP is still probably the only one who still thinks that! I reckon you can answer your own question

Richard Dryden's positivity is so inspiring. I have great hopes for the team under his leadership.
Fabulous photo of the gorgeous Darren Middleton on the City website. I wonder if RD is open to the idea of having him back due to those fabulous looks and his mmmmmmmmm lovely pert bum.
Would make me very happy, not sure Mr T would be too impressed

Having congragulated Richard Dryden on getting his first point as a full-time manager after the Barrow game, I'd now like to congragulate him on securing his first win. And I'm pleased to be able to do so so soon afterwards. Moor Green have always 'done' us in recent years, so it is particularly gratifying to see a win over their new reincarnation.
I couldnt make Saturday's game, I regret, but reading the reports, it sounds like Jamie Price's clinical set-pieces and Mark Danks's finishing were key (alongside others, I am sure).
I challenge anyone to search out the most recent goal in which there was an assist from a midfielder and a finish by a striker. Now that is three in four games - albeit all from set-pieces. I think with Jamie making a strong call on that left sided midfield slot, we may begin to see more assists from midfield in open play. Which is where I feel we have been lacking. Wilding, Webster, Danks and Wood is a very good set of forwards, and get the most from them we must.
As Richard said, start at the back. But please dont over cook that. I think the past regime was characterised by an íf only we could cut out the one silly mistake that was costing us a goal, making us score two to win'. In my view, at this level there are always going to be mistakes. So, well done and keep the momentum going for next Saturday, which I can make!

Like Andy I was unable to make it on Saturday as I was "oop North" (near Barrow, where it rained incessantly Friday and Saturday), but I reckon that was a hard-earned three points.
It was great to find a link on the official website to video highlights of the game and savour us scoring three times. I know one swallow doesn't make a summer but already RD seems to have instilled some fight in them - and note that Danksi has scored three times already.
