???A new 3d addition has been made to the clubs website. But it is out of date. It includes Andy Preece amongst others. Surely if the website is being "updated" then it should be current?

The Player Profile section says it is "First Team 2007/2008". Andy Preece was a "player" for the club during this season albeit only as an unused sub in two matches so it is only right that his profile is on there. His profile includes the comment "... before leaving the club in October 2007." Ergo it is up to date.

Its a debateable one whether to retain players who have left on the website, personally I think its right that you should, so you can see everyone who represented the club during the course of the season. So yes, its up to date.

So yes, its up to date. The matter was discussed and the decision was as you suggest it should be i.e. players' details will not be removed during the course of the season.

I think the carousel is a fantastic idea, very well executed. Much easier to access the individual players than before. And if you're bored, you can make it go rotate in different directions.

Mine doesn't rotate at all . I think you need far more processor power and memory, or a better graphics card to view these new websites. And is it just my machine, but are some of the players missing reflections? vampires???

Well my Amstrad can - if I power it up using my Sinclair C5. It's a terrific addition. Well done Wayne and co. Thanks for your comments, as said above Kieran and myself did discuss whether to only show current players but felt it would probably be of more interest if we added the departed date. Having said that we may have to review that because were not half way through the season yet and we have over 20 players listed on there. Richard Dryden is bound to make changes so we may end up being forced to remove old players so as to make room for new ones If its causing performance problems we may trim it down anyway, so thanks for all comments they are very helpful. Keep a look out for the WCFC website, Barrow match preview for all the latest player news leading up to Saturdays game.

Perhaps grumpy old Tony should do the website then.
I think our website is a real credit to the club, it has great links, information and is bright and professional. I like the carousel idea, I am not bothered that AP is there, but I was pleased to see that Jamie Price was there.
I do think that their marital status should be there just so Darrell and I know who is available
