After Mondays game I couldn't image City would still be in the FA Trophy after Saturday, but ...
1-1 (Wood)

God I hope not. I really don't fancy driving back if that happens. 2-1 to City.

Based upon the principle that the squad are a decent lot and will want to make amends for Monday's horror show, I predict a 2-1 hard fought win for City. Attendance 368.

Villager, Darrell and Mark are surely being super optimistic.
The City will be lucky to make a draw on the showing of the last few games.
And it would be a pleasant surprise if they do.

Villager, Darrell and Mark are surely being super optimistic. Probably not a common trait amongst City fans ... I know. ... and I have no evidence to back this up with m'lord

I predict a horror show again. 3-1 to Guiseley.
My worry remains the defence. We cannot keep a clean sheet to save our lives.

1-0 up at half time, lose 2-1.
22/1 at Stan James for that permutation.
Crowd will be mostly in flat caps and will be cold.

How disappointing it is to see so many supporters expecting City to lose. I'm going for Guiseley to win 2-1 with 400 attending.

Thats predictions for you, what you wish for, nd what you really believe will happen are two very different things. I actually believe that City will come away with a win tomorrow. 1-0, an early goal and hang on in there!

I made a mint out of Croatia on Wednesday night, enough for a new guitar. Couldn't lose - backed the draw and an away win, and if England won I'd be happy. They lost, but I cleaned up. Doing the same on Saturday, backing a home win and the draw, and if City win I will be happy and won't worry about the money, it's only from profit anyway.

As Guiseley have sacked their manager there will be a back-lash from them as well as, I hope, City (remember Barrow last Saturday - manager sacked team win 4-0 just for him). So, always assuming City do find a bit of fight in them, I reckon a 1-1 draw, and a tough replay on Monday night.

Ive no idea what Guisely are like.
Thankfully, the one player I do know of - Dominic Krief - is suspended. He has done for us more than once in the past 12 months.

That's a sound tactic if the odds are good enough. What odds were Croatia? Unfortunately it doesn't look worthwhile for this game with the best available being a Guiseley win at 13/8 and the draw at 13/5. The best City odds are 11/8.

Croatia win was 8/1, the bookies got caught up in the jingoistic fervour and threw their cash away!

Pretty much everywhere, Stan James and PartyBets.com were both kind enough to give me money to assuage my grief over England's loss, having offered me 8/1 on a Croatia win the day before ;D
