I noticed that after the match had finished, despite the final score, Peter Davenport stopped to sign an autograph for a young City fan.

Before the match he was happily chatting to the Southport supporters and lifted one young lad over the railings to kick about with him on the pitch. He was so laid back and friendly I thought he was the physio!
