Wayne that's it no more tips if you are going to produce such good quality photos. What lens did youm go for in the end. I went totally with your advice mate after loads of research and got the Nikon d40x with the 55~200mmVR lens. I practiced all week and even went to a football game to hone my non existent skills before letting loose at SGL. The result of the practice run was real bad and I produced a pile of poo so I started sweating and was thinking I needed to research this camera lark. I looked at F stops & Dof settings and used calculators to work out what I should do etc, etc. Then after all that worry I did something I never do and read the manual and I turned up at the game and switched the camera to sport setting and pressed the button, thats all I'm so pleased with it Carl, cheers for your help. Wayne

I enjoyed those Wayne; I know it's past history now, but still nice to relive the moments.
