I can see the new cult Brit movie now. "The Daisykillers" starring Robert Carlyle United and Sean Hasbeen. A story of small town football fans who stand to lose their club, form a supporters gardening club to save it by growing flowers to sell from the hard shoulder of the motorway. The local market gardener buys the land to which the club might relocate. The lads steal his flowers and sell them and raise the funds to but him out with his own produce. The floodlights go on as the final credits roll revealing multi storey glasshouses as an enabling development producing both daisy-free turf for the pitch but also the ingredients for the vegetarian option in the new Burger Bar.
