With Nuneaton Borough winning their F.A. Cup tie today our home league match against them on 27th October will be postponed.
The only other teams without a game that day are Alfreton Town, Burscough, Kettering Town and, depending on the result tomorrow between Boston United and Hinckley United, either Hucknall Town or Redditch United.
Evesham are in Monday’s draw for the next round and could get another home tie. If City were to arrange a home league game would we then be able to say to Evesham that they would have to move their cup game to the Sunday? I doubt it.
If Evesham do get a home tie then the only rearranged fixture available for City would be to play Kettering away instead of on 8th March. If Evesham are drawn away City would have the extra options of a home game against either Alfreton or Burscough. Hucknall at home might be another possibility but they may well say no after being snubbed when they asked their home fixture to be brought forward to today. City v Redditch is scheduled for Boxing Day with the return fixture on New Year’s day so I can’t see either of those being moved.

Don't fanct re-arranging Krettering! --- they're smarting after the Hyde and Solihull results, and someone will suffer. Sorry for the display of no confidence, but c'est la vie!

Now looks as if I wont miss it after all

I think Evesham would have to move to Sunday, I was talking to Benny today and that was the impression I got anyway!

I've just noticed that Hyde United are also without a game so our trip there is another one to possibly rearrange.

Why do we need to re-arrange these games?

I guess we could do with a home game for the cash and to allow me to attend as I can no longer make the Southport game!

I hate blank Saturdays; it's worse than us losing, it makes the weekend seem very empty. Still the plus point is it means a Monday night game!

Why go to Bedworth when you've a 4th qualifying round cup tie at SGL that day? I'm going to lend my support to Evesham that day.

the evesham v halifax game doesn't really appeal to me, halifax doesn't really appeal to me, never been to bedworth and really enjoy non-league ties like that, with two teams i have never heard of or seen play before.
