3rd Rd Qualifier at the Lane.
Unfortunately, it's Evesham v Halesowen.
Tamworth get another home tie v Kings Lynn (if only).

Personally I'd take King's Lynn to beat Tamworth; I think they (KL) won 5-0 away in QR2.

KL are geared from promotion this year and playing well. Tamworth will have a real struggle but will probably have too much for Norfolk's finest. Might go to a replay though.

They played today and beat King's Lynn 2-1. The Kettering Town v Solihull Moors score was 1-2. So much for the FA website then ... at this rate City might be in the hat for Monday

Presumably it's a matter of "wait and see" as to whether City re-arrange a home game for Saturday 27th. Otherwise we ought to turn out in force and give Evesham our support. Evesham, incidentally, were the very first team out of the hat when the draw was made. Full draw as follows:-
There are some tasty cup-ties in there; I particularly like Chasetown v Nuneaton (sense a shock there), and the all Harrogate local derby ought to attract a few. In the South the Bath v Torquay game may provide a shock; Torquay haven't had to play in the qualifying rounds since the 1920s.

I should have put money on it shouldn't I? I never take up my own tips.
And we worried about being knocked out by a team from the same league? How does it feel to be a Harrogate Town supporter right now?

I would still like to have been a fly on the wall when Harrogate Railway scored their 88th minute winner!

Andy - I like it. Tim - I'd prefer to have been a fly on the wall last Thursday night at training though !

You're right there; I guess the players must have been as shell-shocked as the judges on Strictly Come Dancing.

Tim, if I had to keep wondering how does so little material stretch so far on all those scantily clad sinew straining lady dancers every week, I'd be a bit more than shell-shocked ! No wonder Len has a sweat on every week !

My main reason for watching SCD is the said scantily dressed young women; in particular Lilia Kopylova, who must qualify for "Rear of the Year"!
Now how did we get on to the subject of women's rears when this thread is supposedly about the FA Cup?
