Usual place www.photoloca.com/3011All the goals I took a friend of mine today who likes his rugby, I thought i'll do my part and try to get more people to come, ok it's an away game but might sow the seed as such. During the second half my friend asked me do your fans always berate the manager in this way (for those who didn't attend - chanting obscenities mainly at Preecey and some of the players) When we were leaving the ground a group of city supporters were waiting for the coach - my mate said to them " alright lads, see ye all back in Worcester" He was told to F*** off. Nice one lads that's probably one less for the next home game.

Blackpole, I too can see his point - why would he want to come to watch city again after listening to foul abusive language then having it directed at him (lets not forget he had to watch the match too)
At our last home game 5/6 of these youngsters stood by me, no older than 16 some maybe only 14 or 15. They were loud (loud i can put up with - it's a football game) but it was F***ing this F***ing that all match with young chidren around. Two questions I would put forward to the club..... 1. Why dont the stewards act (it's not just the last home game but other home games too) 2. Why are they allowed in the clubhouse at halftime to consume more alcohol when they are clearly underage - Are we that desperate for the £10 they probably spend ?

Happened to mate of mine a couple of years ago at SGL. He asked a fan ('older enough to know better' was his description) to stop swearing as he had his son with him and was predictably told to f*** off. That guy has only been to SGL for the Huddersfield game since and will only go in future for really big FA Cup games. His view is that non-League football is full of nutters. Not true, but the few bad apples spoil the barrel so should be ousted for the overall good of the non-League game.

I think non league football is full of nutters, but in the nicest way. Generally speaking I love the away matches. Most City fans who make the trips will have a chat about the match and other random subjects. But at home there seems to be an attitude of issuing as much abuse as possible to whoever is closest on the pitch.
I'll speak to anyone willing to listen and find many of the opposition fans great company for the duration of a match, but we're all slightly potty.

All this does seem to boil down to just a handful of drunken teenagers. They still need banning - but I usually like chatting to opposing fans too - if only to get the low down on their team. And I think this MB does a lot of good as I've meet fans who post on here who I've met in the pub pre match or on the terraces. Non League football might be slightly nutty - in the nicest way, of course - but insanity is paying £67 to watch the Baggies with my wife and 5 year-old son last season and fans around were actually fighting with Albion 3-0 down after 20 mins. Explain that one to a 5 year-old attending his first match!

cg says "insanity is paying to watch the B*gg**s" At last, welcome to the real world. I'm just surprised it's taken you nearly 50 years to realise this

I'm just surprised it's taken you nearly 50 years to realise this Real insanity would have watching Wolves for that length of time, Suv - 10-3 to WBA on aggregate last season wasn't it? (ouch) For those prices I quoted read most of the PL and Championship. Overpriced madness

This has been a problem at the Lane for a number of years. I have repeatedly written to the chairmen of the day on the matter. But still nothing is done about it. Even on match days when a complaint is made to the stewards nothing happens. Except that a steward stands somewhere near but not by the offenders, even when they are pointed out.
