I notice that Danny's been sent on loan to Evesham Utd, this seems a strange decision when we have 3 defenders at Worcester who we are currently loaning (real word?) from other clubs

That is a good point suv, I rate Danny and think he has potential but I do have to admit that Doran and Barratt are very talented players and I would love them to be in our squad full time.
If he is on loan, why was he at the match yesterday??

If he is on loan, why was he at the match yesterday?? Evesham are playing today - they were drawn at home in the FA Cup and obviously couldn't play yesterday as City were at home. |

And he can't play today either! AP doesn't want him cup-tied. Danny must be a very understanding person to put up with being in then out all the time.
Surely both Doran and Barratt are not both on loan? Doran is, I agree, but I thought Barratt was with us on a work-experience basis and therefore on our books. I thoroughly agree that both are talented players.

That's good news. I'm sure it's no coincidence our improved form coincided with his arrival. What a pity his registration didn't arrive on time.

I presume the reason Preecy didn't want Danny to get cup-tied is that I guess Walsall will not want Doran cup-tied and hence he won't be available against Tamworth. Am I right?

Danny and Gary Walker (as well as Troy) have gone out on loan numerous times and always returned.

That was years ago. Preece seems to want to keep hold of good youngsters, especially Danny, Gary and Troy.

Sorry I didnt look that closely at his name, I just read it as Neil I didnt realise he spelt it differently. Should have paid more attention thanks WH. Not sure he did the same with mine though.

Well I think it is a squad thing really. With budgets tight I think Preece wants to have a bench of good youngsters who can do a job if required. Also remember that Shabby was first choice this season but got injured (again) almost straight away. Maybe he has plans for them next season and wants to keep them from getting frustrated by getting them games week in week out. I don't know, but he seems to be determined to keep them around.
