Thank goodness for that! An absolute avalanche of goals for our favourites and a vital three points. Character to come back and snatch it at the end. Let’s hope we can start finding the net from open play soon too. Long way to go to move up a further place in the table but maybe, just maybe, we have turned the corner on the pitch.

First chance I have had to get to a game this season. Pleasantly surprised. We posed a threat down both wings, midfield were tenacious and although the defence had a few gaps at times we limited Warwick to very few chances. Overall we were as good as if not better than RC Warwick who only dominated the first 15 minutes or so of the second half when they pressed us a lot more. The problem is that we could have stayed on the pitch until midnight and not scored from open play. That needs to be fixed as soon as possible. Maybe the new players and loanees will bed in and some understanding will help create goals but those goals need to come from somewhere because we will concede at least one per match.

I guess there are two ways to look at it. Glass half full or half empty.
It was a really good overall display by City.....but we still needed to be awarded two penalties in order to win - & we nearly messed it up even then (not a great penalty which the goalie saved easily but the rebound went in).
We need the new manager to be announced asap. Hopefully Chris Withington may return as well!?!?
