No offence to the club, but how has the ground passed the grading system?

It's early days, I know, (see where we are after 10 rule and all that) but after today's loss I think we could be bottom of the league.

Yes we're bottom. 5 games and no improvement. Not looking good.

Yes we're bottom. 5 games and no improvement. Not looking good. I disagree, there WAS improvement we dominated much of the first half and later stages of the game, the back four looked steadier, the midfield had more bite and creativity it’s just up front where the problem lies. We do not create enough chances and when we do (3 golden chances this afternoon) we don’t put them away. We have a tendency to lump high balls into the box from deep positions which are easy for the opposing centre backs to deal with. We need to play wide and down the channels to create more chances. All will come good it’s just that if we leave it much longer to get into our stride we are never going to catch the top teams.

So a steadier back 4 that conceded 2 goals isn't much improvement. Although Walsall are top of the league, I don't think they will be our toughest opponents.

No offence to the club, but how has the ground passed the grading system? What was wrong with their ground Zeke? I went there a couple of years back, and it was fine then (for this level anyway).

From the bar to the far end, you needed to clamber through high weeds, nettles, dirt humps and fallen metal railings. I just assumed that hard standing around the perimeter was necessary?

Zeke - corect me if I'm wrong, but I thought that hard standing around the perimeter was only necessary from level 4 upwards? Walsall and City are in level 5 - is that correct?

Zeke - as President George Washington once said - "you should never assume anything" - even more so in the Midland Premier League!!!
