Play off place - 5th?

The Worcester News yesterday had a piece on Billy Shaw being out for a month.

Also in that piece they say... The result put them back into fifth position, the final play-off place.

I thought only second place was considered part of play offs.

Anyone know if it is now down to fifth?

I think the Worcester news have made a mistake as only the 2nd placed team is highlighted on the MFL page

The ten best runners up based on points per game will qualify for automatic promotion. The remaining six runners up will play off against the relevant third bottom Step 4 teams.
The play offs at Step 6 are for teams finishing second to fifth

In step 6, don't the top 2 go up automatically, then the next 4 go into play offs? On the Raiders Forum, they say they only have to finish 2nd, to automatically go up.

With a paltry 6 pts from our last 7 League matches, it won't be concerning us too much will it ? Struggling to keep a clean sheet, struggling to score ( with the exception of Bailey Fuller ) and lightweight in the tackle.

We're gettin to the point in the season, where there is nothing to play for and a few more performances like that will see the attendances drop. Which is a shame because we should be proud of these attendance figures
